Glad to see that Bully rarities still show up every now and then, even in 2018. I noticed that the debug menu lists chapter 6 as spring and chapter 7 as summer. That confirms the theory that there were actually 7 chapters (along the unused text files). It's also nice to finally see the test area and island 3 with proper lighting, I always wondered how those looked like.

It’s not his fault he bricked one of the consoles that stuff just happens, and the reason he bought these consoles is to show us some Bully beta stuff with the debug menu that we’ve actually never seen before. If some regular average Joe got their hands on those consoles they would’ve kept the secret to themselves and just kept the console as a collectible as he said in the video, he did this for our sakes.

lee heaton we gained the ability to see an official debug build of Bully that was used during development by Rockstar Games themselves. Which we wouldn’t have if some random dude purchased the systems just for the purpose of being a collectible and never showing us the gameplay like SWEGTA did.

My guess on the car spawning issue and using the roads on the testing area is that they probably set the cars to spawn in specific roads, and then tested how they would perform/navigate in certain scenarios such as how many cars are able to occupy one road. Maybe trying to spawn one took multiple attempts because you were too close to another car and the game was set to spawn them a few feet away from each other to not cause issues.

Sick! Debug menus are always fun to use. I remember buying an old game shark and messing around with the debug menu in Super Smash Bros Melee. Would love to see a Red Dead Redemption 1 debug build if that even exists.

Remember deadpoolxyz's video about a test island? yes this is the build where this island came from but i noticed that, the debug build has actually turned off the dark shades, so you can look at pitch black areas on full bright.

Great, an actual build of this game that pretty much allows players to do things the developers never intended and see out of bounds and secret areas, obviously this is some kind of beta test version of the game, I wonder how the hell you acquire one of these it must of cost loads to get, hopefully you’ll find some actual beta content that didn’t make it into the final game, great find 👏

At the time, Simon sent me the image dump of the RVT-H HDD and I did manage to extract a lot of stuff from it, including the 3 builds but the images were corrupt. I didn't know it was corrupt because of college and all and by the time I told Simon that it was corrupt, someone else had already managed to get those ROM's from a new image dump that I didn't get. So that sucks lol.

@@lezuskonrad I misunderstood your comment. I think you're talking about dumping the images, not releasing them. Dumping them is possible as I almost somewhat did. The Bully-MP developer managed to do it though (I keep forgetting his name) He cannot legally release any of these builds to the public, since it would be considered piracy. Knowing Rockstar, they probably wouldn't care, but the law is the law. If I could, I would happily buy all the builds from him lol

This really cool, if you are willing you should release this build to the public, so we can get more information about it and possibly put features from this build into a mod. Or work with someone in the modding community to have this released without the build being leaked, either one would work.

Wow, what a crazy discovery, this was a pretty cool video to watch and I wanted to thank you for taking your time and spending money on those dev kits, they probably weren't cheap. That debug menu seems to have so much stuff in it that it would be pretty interesting to explore deeply (maybe live stream it sometime?). Also, it's alright SWEGTA it's best to take your time with videos instead of just trying to push one out that you aren't happy with. I really do enjoy whatever we get to see, even if it takes some time.

Edgar sports very choloesque clothes while the unkown punk in the comic has a bacwards rolled up bandana which is also heavy in cholo type gangs but im not even certain that what he was wearing was a bandanna. Regarding your points around 18:00 ... If anything, people won't have any problem with those arguments, and Beta Content =/= Beta Version, which is what the video is titled. Technically, I don't think the _version_ can be called beta, as it's basically final, not beta. True beta ones should be PS2 or maybe even PC exclusive, so I felt a bit clickbaited with the title. I'd have simply called it "Pre-Release Wii Version" instead, very specifically, and adjust the video title to mirror that. Not saying you should, but it's what I definitely would have done. GJ btw!

I feel like late into development they pulled the driving feature, because it seemed pretty fleshed out minus some sort of carjacking mechanic that was likely in development. I mean they had reverse lights, goodish driving psychics and in the testing area there is even patches out road to test it.
