They censored the acid a little too well. So I was doing this mission, & Edgar hit me with the pipe. The mission automatically failed & said I got knocked out, it says this as Jimmy is still fighting Edgar

Maybe cutscene trigger is under the acid. If the trigger is removed when you get knocked out in acid, you might be able to reach other trigger. Or maybe it doesn't even exist.

if i remember from some streams during edgar boss fight the mission failed while in mid-fight saying "your were knocked out" even though they still had green health i assume the supposed acid death had rare glitch where the game thinks you drown into one all while in middle of fighting edgar

@@TheNathanNS my other guess is the whole acid part its more of area's hazard than edgar actually do the deed, since if jimmy somehow gets out of the arena, it triggers the mission failure another thing is in both unusued cutscene and post-fight, both jimmy and edgar shown standing in middle where the acid coordinate should be, so my another guess is the pit in middle wasn't grated (heck from the looks of it, standing dangerously close to pool of acid is same as standing near lava) last but not least for jimmy's voicelines and animation from burned by acid, i think it was done by his old actor

i forgot another thing Do You remember the changes they made with the Plant's entrance ? going original entrance seems makes sense jimmy never falls into the acid but who exactly OWNS the power plant anyway ? i don't think its something that townies could afford it during the mission there maybe van spawn but otherwise no indication of plant employees

IMO? IF the entire "acid bath" thing was to be actually in the game it probably would have been something like a very quick cutscene where Jimmy falls into the green goo and is IMMEDIATELY submerged, disappearing. No screams, nothing shown and only Edgar's comments on the fact are spoken out loud. Bully is NOT GTA. It may be a dark game in it's own way, but not THAT dark.
