I feel like it was a wasted opportunity to cease the development of the phase 1 version of Bully 2 because releasing around 2012-2013 would've been the most ideal time in an era of GTA V and The Last of Us, there were a lotta great ideas and a solid premise that followed up seamlessly with the original, doing a continuation of Jimmy's story seems unlikely now because of how far the gap is today from Bully's release that I doubt Rockstar will pick up where they left off A sequel by 2028 just seems pointless to me at this point because so much time has passed and people are aging, Bully's popularity not being as high as what it was in the PS3 era

5:36 Yeah, the facial animation s in this were captured by actually capturing a real actors face into a 3d model, 30 times a second, so a facial animation in this game is actually the game swapping the head model 30times a second. This is why during facial expression capture the actors had to be completely still.It was expensive to capture and took up way more storage space. The Xbox 360 version came in 3 dual layer DVDs. One of the reasons why this technology was not used in the "future".

bully not only never got a sequel, but it never got a spiritual successor, the closest thing we got was hogwarts legacy which is nothing like bully. its absurd how this game and its niche has been treated.
