Bubba is one of the smartest guys in wrestling, and if he says something, you know he means it. His love for this industry shows. I remember that powerbomb too. He protected her the best he could, and she was great at taking it. You can hear in his voice too, how much love and respect he has for her and Freddie.

Mae Young comes from a time when they only half smartened up the lady wrestlers. Those gals beat the crap out of each other. She wrestled in memphis the night Pearl Harbor was bombed!!! Her first match was allegedly a shoot fight in 1939. She tried to challenge the womans champion and the promoter instead put her in the ring with Gladys Killem Gillem who she beat in a matter of seconds.
