In nearly every way the Mini is a Bull Terrier, only smaller. In fact, before 1991 the AKC classified the two Bullys as varieties of the same breed. Minis stand between 10 and 14 inches at the shoulder. They’re square, muscular, and, for their size, quite strong. Their trademark is a large egg-shaped head, with its dark, triangular eyes that twinkle with mischief. It’s impossible to mistake the Bull Terrier breeds for any other. The coat can be pure white, or white with predominate colored markings.
Sandy Lindstedt is a breeder and exhibitor of Miniature Bull Terriers and Bull Terriers. Under her kennel Triumph Miniature Bull Terriers, she breeds Bull Terriers for AKC conformation, competitive trick training, and family companionship. In this video Sandy details the process of getting a bitch through labor to birthing to raising healthy mini Bull Terrier pups.

Growing up long as I can remember.. I never seen anyone give so much attention to a dog giving birth. They don't need help and be left alone. They don't want you around. They know in nature what to do. From mutts to full breed I've seen.

A few years back a miniature Bull Terrier badly mauled a large lab dog, the owner had a hard time trying to get it's jaws open which were locked onto the larger dogs neck. Now I know that the Bull Terrier is a powerhouse of a dog and are formidable fighters, but it just overwhelmed me that even a miniature Bull Terrier can do a lot of damage, let alone it's standard size counterpart.

Well this woman's dogs are overweight. Sadly, this is the only real way to match the breed standard since it calls for no tuck (tuck means narrow waist) in my opinion, breed standards and dog shows are a terrible way to judge the breeding quality of your stock. The only way to test a dog is to put him to work!

My 5 month old is in between narrow waisted and thick I try not to over feed but feed above average for mass gain along with good daily excersise she's a little beast!!

I got a 5 year old Miniatur Bullterrier 4 month ago and she was a bit to heavy! Every day we walk her minimum 3 hours (10 miles) in the bavarian alps! She runs most of the time off leash! Now she has LOTS of muscle and is really fit! Most people dont walk their dogs not enough! Not the dog is lazy - the owners are lazy!7

I had a Shepard Dog -Female, and she did not need Me to help her in any ways whatsoever while she was having her Puppies. And she had 4 litters. I don't understand why she is in the Whelping Pen assisting in every aspect of the births. Ok, rubbing the dog's back and tummy is fine. However I think that she is going way over board. The dog is not stupid and can give birth to all of her Puppies unassisted.

I've known a mini breed to standard and the pups when adult was standard size ..so I guess it's ok but why would you ? Mini to mini because of the pedigree if you breed standard to the litter they then haven't a pedigree

Breeding bull terriers is significantly harder than most breeds because they make the relatively poor mothers, having been bred to retain a puppy mentality into adulthood and be very human-focused

I dont know where you get your facts but MBT are not like Bt's ( only in looks) Mini bulls are very intelligent and super quick to learn. Breeding a good mini bull is not easy as theres a lot of dog to get into that small 14" frame. Super job Sandy
