I see alot of people commenting on these dogs and comparing them to apbt and amstaffs which is crazy to me, i understand they are made from these breeds but they arent the same breed! If people wanted the same breed they would get the same breed, they liked everything about the apbt they just wanted a more compact muscular laid back dog. No different than labradoodles. Or any other breed thats been made in the last 100 years.

The good you do from getting a dog from the pound is you save that dog's life. Pounds and rescues can't take care of all the dogs in their care indefinitely, so it's good when folks rescue dogs.

no but do your research there is no such thing as am american pitbull with a 25" head. that just doesn't happen. the likelihood is that you have either a bandog (mastiff pitbull mix) or an american bully.

Im only about 20 mins into this video and so far I haven't seen anything that impresses me. I've seen: 1.) High Backs low Fronts 2.) Lack of conformation 3.) A bunch of "breeders" who overhype dogs who don't even look that good. Hope it gets better

@@photog3377 they are recognized by the ABKC, AKC, UKC and some other ones. The ones in the video are dad ones. I have never seen a breeder sell dogs for less than 2,000.

Don't tell people to educate themselves if you haven't bothered to do it yourself. You wouldn't stick a Porsche badge on a old station-wagon car and tell people its a Porsche: So why do it with dogs? You got American Bullies not pit bulls. Be proud of what you got, call it what it is, not what its not. Then people wont discriminate.

I grew up with game bred pitbulls.... There is plenty pitbull in the Bully but l can see it's transformation in it's looks and build and also safer around other dogs and animals....

How do you distinguish what you do with what other backyard breeders do? What kinds of certifications do you hold? Have you studied canine physiology or behavior or temperment or nutrition? I mean, if you bred purebred American Pitbull Terriers or Staffordshires I could give more credence to what you've said in your video. Again, what do you do different from backyard breeders?

Idk but I wouldn't I didn't start leaving my bully home til he was like 4months......unless you want to clean up puppy shit.....if you do make sure you give him something to chew on or play with because he'll get bored.He's going to also be doing a lot of crying when you leave him alone for that long so make sure your neighbor's don't start complaining.

I see it's been 2 weeks and no one has answered you... Pit bull terriers was what they all once were but recognizing a difference in the 3 resolved to separating the breed. The Amstaffs were bred in England, they do look different in appearance, rather shorter stockier and calm. The Pit Terriers are rather taller, longer, slimmer, longer snouts, and are a lot more active (usually a preference for fighting.) The Bullies are a mixture of both. Bred to have the temperament of the Staff though.

You can't fight most bullies. The reason pitbulls were good fighting dogs, was because they were "game bred" dogs. Tall, lanky, but muscle powerhouses. If you threw an american bully into a ring, it most likely is going to play haha. These are good natured dogs, bred for companionship and the show ring. They are both human friendly and dog friendly, they have to be to be in the show ring where they are surrounded by other high dollar dogs! You don't want your dog to potentially attack a 2000$ dog... these guys are huge, monstrosities, made of nothing but bone and muscle, but with a perpetual puppy personality ;) sweet as could be!

I own pits and bullies. I breed Bullies cause that's where the money is at right now. Nobody is into the slim pits anymore, unless they already own one. The Bullies are good dogs but many people get them confused with these fat, sloppy, slow, hippo looking Bullies that the West Coast breeds. Extremes and Pockets. They feel it looks better in shows. My preference of real bullies are the Standard, Classic, or Xlarge ones. Not over 90lbs. These do have the agility and drive that pit terriers have.
