Definitely the most "Laurel & Hardy"-esque short of Todd and Kelly, even down to the end gag which was mentioned as a joke in "Sons of the Desert".

How refreshing to see a funny ladies comedy team before Lucy and Ethel. I saw Patsy Kelly on Broadway in “The New 1925 Musical,” ‘No, No, Nanette,’ 1971. Unfortunately being 15 years old at the time I wasn’t familiar with her film and television appearances.

The guy who plays the Gorilla is Charles Gemora who also appeared in The Chimp (1932) and Swiss Miss (1938) both featuring Laurel and Hardy and he also appeared in other Roach comedies from the 1930s.

I first saw him in Africa Screams. There's in interview with his daughter on KZbin somewhere.

...and the Marx Brothers "At The Circus" as well as basically any film at any studio that needed a "gorilla"

I used to love me some Zasu. Now just some Patsy. I so enjoy early 1930's movies. Absoluteltly the best.
