Speaking of Spongebob, this past weekend March 21-24, Tom Kenny (voice of Spongebob) was at a convention I went to. We stopped by his booth to get my friend`s Power Puff Girls DVD set signed by his for the Mayor to complete the autographed set. He is SO funny and downright such a sweetheart. The large utility hooks are pretty big from my experience with the velcro command strips, they dont have to be lined up exactly, just overlaping enough to stick together and they stay pretty strong! I hug all of our pictures up with those!

Command makes metal pieces that don't require nails in the wall but allow you to hang frames/boards that have the brackets on them! They are called Command Universal Picture Hanger w/ Stabilizer Strips

Hiya, 3m hooks and velcro are usually pretty sturdy. I've learned they really do stay on the wall better if you clean it with a bit of alcohol like it suggests. Also did you try to just adhere the joined pieces to the pinboard first, then remove all of the backing to stick the whole thing to the wall at once? I would've gone crazy trying to measure and match.

I mentioned doing that, but I said I didn't have anymore velcro pieces. The staples velcro doesnt really hold anyway, so I'm better off getting hooks. The sticky part did stick well to the wall, but it doesn't stick well to the cork board because the cork fibers flake off.

Take down the existing command strips and then just put it back up with fresh ones stuck together on the back of the board so the sticky just goes wherever you pressed down and it's lined up perfectly. I just barely had a mirror fall down (husband didn't use enough strips) and we started measuring things but it's wayyy easier to just start fresh and we realized that pretty quickly.

You could try strongly adhering a more command strip friendly material on the back and then hanging it but I'm pro "just use two small nails" and some hanging hardware. We only used the velcro sticks on my mirror because it was a cheap $5 mirror and it literally couldn't take any hanging hardware.

Bailey, I have seen hacks online for rehanging picture frames that say to put a small drop of toothpaste on the velcro on the wall, place your board where you want it positioned, and then remove it and you can use the spots of toothpaste now on the back of the board to replace your velcro on the board? Idk if any of that makes sense but my brain was hurting watching you super systematically try to rehang it!!

Baylee, I know you're feeling a bit better now but get yourself a box of Buckley's Complete caplets (cough, cold & flu extra strength - 48 caplets) they've worked miracles for me.As soon as you feel a cold coming on (or you know you have one) take 2 and you'll feel no pain in no time. I've never tried the liquid, as I've been told it tastes like gasoline, but apparently that works too. YMMV.

Hi Baylee, you may want to try 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener. This stuff is super strong - it can hold a full floor length mirror. I work in facilities management and we use all the time because of its durability and strength.
