I worked at a florist for almost 10 years... Use gold ting-ting or curly willow branches sprayed gold with floral spray. Also you can use battery operated submersible candles to match the larger vases glow. Any questions I can help. I not only was a sales associate and wedding planner, but I also processed all living and imitation flowers we bought wholesale. :)

Also any white silks can be sprayed navy. A good idea is hydrangeas in white with navy accent sprayed flowers and gold ting-ting.

this is random but once I went to a wedding with bowls in the middle with candles floating on it with a fish in the bowl, and of course I really wanted to take some home but we couldn't find anything to put it in so we ended up cleaning a beer bottle to put it in. and that is how my family got pulled over and had to explain their were fish in a beer bottle. this story is probably worded awfully but I'm not a writer and you had to be there to get how funny it actually was.

oooh here's a cute idea for center pieces: my mum's friends wedding was a couple months ago and she had glass jars with clear glass balls inside them but there were fairy lights in the middle so it made the glass balls look a soft pink colour (because she used soft pink fairy lights) and they were so pretty! i love those ideas you came up with too though, your wedding is going to be so pretty!

If you want some pretty filler for your flowers try baby's breath. They're cute and dainty but take up a lot of volume in a bouquet or flower arrangement. Or also you could try Queen Anne's Lace. I'm sure you could find both really cheap on eBay. Hope this helps and congrats on your impending nuptials!

I feel this on a personal level. My best friend is doing a very country/rustic wedding this September and next May is my starting point of the year for my wedding planning. Getting married May 4th, 2019 and we're going for a pastel theme. More so light purple and light blue. I love the idea for the fairy lights in the jars for the centerpiece. It would be cute to have a little fairy garden terrarium on the main table and little fairy lights through the other one. Then again, that'd be more for spring LOL

Just to share an idea, You could put your center pieces on a gold charger or have a gold trim to the smaller vase to incorporate your colours.

there is also glowing rocks you can put in there with out the lights, kinda like the glow sticks splatter idea. and for the flowers you can hold them down with like small rocks/pebbles so they dont see the glue, glass cylinder usually have them at the dollar stores ! sheers are so much cheaper online on like the wish/home app. like 1usd for like 10 feet. for the rose base for your base you can do crush marble and just glue them onto a glass circle mirror (imitate glass shards)

If you wait until June and peruse local yard sale pages for your decorations (both online sales and ads for actual yard sales), there will be a lot of people selling their wedding stuff. Everything has only been used once and people sell them for less than half of the original cost. I have planned a few weddings, and that is how most of my brides found their decor. One even got a dozen 12" diameter mirror bases for $3 each.

Baylee, the floating candles look much better if they're floating inside the jar, so not filling the water to the top so the flame is shining through the glass. It gives a much prettier glow than if the candle flame sticks out above the glass.

I totally know what it's like to plan your wedding in another place than where you live. I live in Texas and I got married in Oregon. I had everything shipped to my parent's house there and most of my stuff I didn't even see in person until 4 days before my wedding. It was stressful at times but it all worked out. You should check afloral.com for the green filler type plants or hobby lobby. They usually always have some kind of deal there.

Dollar Tree is in Canada and has things online they don't stock in store such as mirrors and hurricane glass cylinders etc. I don't know if that is the Dollar store you went to, but it's still worth checking their online site. Additionally it will be packed in bulk/boxes so less likely to get damaged. They also do free ship to store in the US so may do that in Canada. So you can order it and send it to a store closer to your mom.

Baylee check your goodwill or thrift store and buy mixed glass that is what we did. And if you have Joann's or Hobby Lobby check them they have tons of flowers and 50% off every second week for HL. I just went through all this in my daughters wedding. We even found glass candle holders in the thrift stores. All cheap have fun shopping Hun. You know it would be worth you making a trip to LA Fashion distinct they have a floral area and things in the district are so cheap
