This Bumblebee has a special place in my heart. As a kid, It was the first figure I had in my hands after I realized i was having seizures, then diagnosed with epilepsy. This figure literally was with me through the hardest times of my younger life and I still have it now all these years later.

If you're still looking for a Studio Series 76 Camaro Bumblebee, I'd recommend getting the SS27 Clunker version over the original SS01 version due to the addition of the pin connecting the center hood panel to the front windshield making it a little more solid.

I just bought a SS 46 bumbleb and the CLEAR PLASTIC HINGES broke. Luckily the hinge didn't break off completely it's still hanging on so I'm hoping super glue will fix it

Figures like this is what really made Studio Series such a blessing. The '07 line was like the awkward transition phase between the Unicron Trilogy, and the refined figures we got in ROTF. You can tell Hasbro was struggling trying to make these new super complicated Bay designs work in toy form since for the prior 6 years they were working with designs that were a lot more simple, bold and blocky.

The feet aren't transformed correctly, that's why they don't have any support. They're supposed to fold a little lower and then pivot the ankle so that the heel reaches behind the leg. They're supposed to be slightly chicken-y. Edit: There is probably something that is keeping the ankles from going as far back as they're supposed to, but I don't know what. I need to get my hands on one again to see.

After an entire childhood collecting and playing with bootleg Beast Wars toys, this Bumblebee was my FIRST original Transformer I got back in 2007, and I enjoyed the heck out of it despite not being movie accurate, it is after all, a Deluxe Class Transformer in all the sense of the word. I understand it has some flaws like the balljoints of the legs getting loose over playtime, and the joint of the left door broke off on my copy after 2 years, but it was an easy fix with a little bitty of super glue, of course taking care of not glueing on the pin itself. Anyway, despite all of the issues, the figure is good for the time it came out, and it has a very fond place in my heart and my collection to this day, along with all of my 2007 movie toys. I don't need the Studio Series figures, I'm most than happy and satisfied with the ones that came first, including the ROTF and DOTM lines. BTW, have you tried rotating the wheels to make them clip on the shoulders? Because that's what their hollow parts are for.

Fun car fact: bumblebees form was made in 30 days since there were no running models in 2007 they didn't produce until 2009, they considered making him turn into a Pontiac GTO (my previous car fact was wrong sorry!)

To fill you in on the history of the automorph breakage, from what I know, it all has to do with the tabs that the gimmick uses. The first run has even tabs for the gimmick, meaning it doesn't really have a chance of snapping. Hasbro later decided to retool the tabs to be uneven for whatever reason, which is when the automorph breakage became a big issue. This issue wasn't fixed until that Target two pack that had this figure and the concept Camaro figure, so any of the more current uses of the mold, like that Tribute three pack, should be perfectly fine.

Yep I remember getting this figure in the 2-pack with barricade because it was the first and only bee toy out with the first wave. It sucks but it was fun at the time, mostly for the automorph stuff and the car mode. The /modern camaro figure that came afterwards completely blew this one out of the water.

I remember getting this in a two-pack with Barricade as a Christmas present. Man, I miss my old toys. When I looked this figure up to remember what it looked like... yyyyeah, the feet. But at the same time I definitely prefer the windows on this compared to being clear plastic. On a semi-related note, that Earthspark Bee? I'm really considering picking it up, it looks lovely for the price.

Totally had that figure when the movie was released. I remember really enjoying it. Never knew about the hood issue, so that was surprising. Especially since I flipped him back and forth a lot. It's a pretty fun transformation. I'm sure if I found him and attempted, it probably would break. Just like I'm afraid of finding my Transmetal Megatron, because I'm sure GPS has overtaken it by now.

The 07 classic Camaro was my first transformer ever. I remember my Dad took me to Walmart, and I can still remember the promo stand for the toys. I remember Bee was the first bot to catch my eye, and I cherished that toy until the day he was stolen from me. Luckily, I got the same Bee when I bough the bumblebee 3 pack with this Bee, the high octane bee, and the Last Knight Bee. While I personally love the studio series DOTM Bee, this Bee will always hold a soft spot for me, mainly because of my Dad.

Growing up I always wanted it but never found it, early last year I found it in a charity store for £2 and I honestly absolutely love it. Yes the robot mode is a little ehhh. But the alt mode is still my absolute favourite Classic Camaro bee toy. I don't suffer too much with the front of the car. Yes if can be a little temperamental but if I get it right it stays. I keep him in alt mode mainly and have him next to my dotm nitro bee in robot mode, I suffer slightly with the loose legs but thankfully no where near as poor. Amazingly especially since it was second hand brought from a charity store window, I love it although it is flawed, I'd chose it over the SS stuff any day. Plus it was my dream car.. Well still is. I've seen a custom one drive by me, being in England that was a massive surprise. It was so damn Loud I'm pretty sure some car alarms went off. If you read this far down... Why did you?

This was my first movie toy along with Barricade as they came in a 2 pack together, and I loved this figure to the point he went with me on campouts and the like, wore him down so much recreating his no-legs scene that the piece where the thighs and legs connect broke apart and I has to superglue them together just to keep him useable. Been wanting to pick up a sealed 2 pack to relive the nostalgia but without opening and breaking it along with the Takara release for those transparent windows. Great review as always.

Probably the worst of the 07 deluxes as Jazz, and Barricade weren't half bad and were a bit more accurate in bot mode. First I've ever heard of the front end literally exploding off the car as I've had mine since the original release. Definitely suffers a lot from it's automorph feature as it's hair trigger sensitive at the slightest touch in alt mode. Car mode definitely took priority over the bot mode for this one as the later released deluxe was much better realized. I like how the canon double as enormous exhaust in storage mode.

If you’re looking to add weathering detail to your figures, you should look into weathering pencils. You just go over the edges with it and it will simulate rust and paint chipping.

I get the dislike for the robot mode fr. It's not the best. But I gotta say, this was my absolute favorite toy when I was little. I took Bumblebee everywhere. He was just the best to me. I preferred him over the 07 concept Camaro Bee (he was too hard to transform for me), I preferred him over any of my 07 toys. This guy was my childhood and I adore him so so much.

I got this bumblebee along with barricade in two pack set for my 7th birthday. I really love the automorph feature on Bumblebee with his chest but after some time it became loose and the front end wont attach properly anymore. Barricade was a solid bot though I'll be honest. The design wasn't the most accurate but that vehicle mode is cleannnnnn boy

the 2 first bumblebee deluxe figures are the only ones that transform correclty, with the hood coming sideswipe like flat on the chest, and the front of the car coming up, the doors closer to each other on the back, the weels on the shoulders and not like other wings, and the arms actually being useful in the transformation. Same goes for the TFPrime design that no figure got right
