I've never tried to put IR after CAB🙂, but the sound is interesting. I'll have to try it. I managed to listen to 2 compositions from the new album, very impressive👍❤️🤪I've been waiting for your instrumental album for a long time.

Ron, thanks for the idea to put IR after CAB🤘I don't think it's quite right, but oddly enough, I missed it in the 5150 sound. The sound stopped being loose, it became focused, growling and cleaner. Thank you very much❤️

Ahhhhh glad it worked! Try different IRs at different %, really tweaks the smoothness of the sound :)

Hey man, this are really nice guitar sounds, I wonder why you choose to put some of these delays before of the dual amps?

Ahhhhh good question! Sometimes you may want pre- amp FX to grab the delayed notes. Example - if you have a filter that reacts to volume, fading delay repeats before the filter will get different filter reactions, where delays after the filter / amps will just repeat the exact same filtered note…. 😁👍👍👍

You split into dual amp-cabs that sum to go into one IR ('two amps in one room'). Would you ever split into dual amp-cabs that go into independent IRs then sum ('two amps in separate rooms') ? And also, are the parts recorded as single track or doubled, i.e. does the routing alleviate the need for double tracking since the preset is already so sonically dense?

I recorded single track, it still sounds single…. but, if you combine a verrrrry slight chorus/vibrato effect and use a stereo delay with 0% Mix on the Left / 12-20ms delay, 0% feedback, 100% Mix on the Right, it may feel close to hard-panned double-tracking :)
