2020 Marks my 50th year of bowhunting. I have hunted in my home state of Missouri plus Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota and Georgia. I don't say this to glorify myself. I say this to make the point for reference when I say that this bow hunt is by far the most impressive hunt I have ever witnessed in real life or on video. To stay in contact with a big buck for two days and make the moves that you did to make this happen is beyond words. Congratulations Aaron on not only a tremendous buck but more importantly on an epic hunt. Well done.

Your Dam right. The editing sometimes make it seem easier than what it is. To pinpoint a buck like that and get in and setup stands without bumping him is a feat all in itself. Let alone to actually climb down and make a move undetected and stick him. That buck never knew they were there either.

Amazing skills? He took a quarting towards shot, got saved by a limb and took running after the deer immediately after the shot. You must be a gun hunter.
@TheCoolwhipped4 жыл бұрын
@@scottrose7728 well you're obviously not a bow hunter. 10 yards and you're on the ground in the open, you're taking that shot. And when you see that hit, you too are going to take off over the ridge to see where it goes. Quartering to shots aren't bad. The problem with them is that people aim where they practice on foam targets and not at the heart or lungs, so you end up with a bunch of single lung/ liver or gut shot deer. This took incredible skill and situational awareness to know to get out of the tree and circle downwind to get to inside 15 yards on a mature, public land buck.

Gooch has come a long way in a short time. I'll admit I wasn't sure he was gonna make it but here he is with a perfect capture. He's learning from the best.

Looks very similar to my public land buck last year. a little high and forward. I ended up getting the pipework leading to the heart and lungs and the buck headed into a ravine where more damage was done as the arrow broke within him. Congratulations!

This is the best example of heavy arrow and cut on contact broadhead. This is one of the best videos I have ever seen. Keep up the great work work. You guys are the best.

Awesome video! Just got some THP merch in the mail this week. If you all haven’t gotten any I would recommend you order some goods! Great products and shipped within a couple days to south fla. Thank you THP! 👍🏼👍🏼

Great job Goochman on the footage and keeping the cam steady as your knees are shaking like maracas at a Fiesta. Warb, nerves of steel. You can market those cough drops. Excellent B-roll. I can see the Smurf rolling up on the auction block at Barret Jackson.

Warb!! Two things.. one you got rid of your personal "October lull" and I swear if I had enough extra money I would buy you a new truck.. Great job as always!

The bump and double dump! Second dump is the adrenaline , Gooch lowered his camera just enough to show his knees nocking lol ! Wow so cool , the leaves were like walking in aluminum cans after a frat party and I thought once again Aaron drew way early , wrong then Gooch had to have been in a frozen lean to film that!😅
