I’m glad y’all mentioned Hideous Mutant Freaks at the end. I didn’t know about that P-Funk album.

The remix of Martial Law was like an LP on its own in the 90s. I just listened to it (yeah I got a copy). There was a lot of P-funk in the 90s. If you didn't get it then it's hard to find now.

I dig how y'all talk about the "color" of the albums sound. To me one of the hippest, deepest, darkest P-FUNKS records was Parliaments -" Funkentelechy vs, The Placebo Syndrome" that shit was dark, spooky, eerie but oh so Mutha Funkin' Funky. I bought that when it dropped, it was in the window of the record store. My favorite Parliament album. Even the tour for that album was dark. I don't know about y'all but the tour I saw around that time was like 4 people on stage ( plus the drummer) and they tore the roof off the MF!!! This is at The Civic Arena in Pittsburgh PA, 77, early 78? I'm old and first seen Funkadelic with Mandrill in 1974, can't remember details but...........😁
