That's how it is where I fish at. Same ppl skipjacking around, everyday, from daylight to dark. I got to fish one time early in the year and managed 15, good skipjack. I'm already out, due to catfishing alot. But it sucks when the methheads that don't work, clean out the skips and mooneyes, and sell em. But I have the money to buy em, so no big deal. Dave , when you are in the skipjack , have a rod ready with a BIG hook and take off a LIVE whole big skip from the little hook to a big hook under a bobber, I have hooked a few whoppers that way. Come on Man, drop some whole LIVE skipjack the bigger the better ... big bait big fish

Hand controlled variable speed trolling motor. Front of the boat. Half the speed of the current. Whatever size cannonball weight you need for the current. 3 way swivel rig and bumping. My kind of fishing!!!
