Well thing is, it makes no sense. On one hand, he knows its his fault, thats why he asks you to kill him. On the other hand, this is no better than his manipulative "If you love me you will do it" crp.

I agree! I mean, Hawke lost horribly much. She literally has no family left (optionally one sibling, but in my playthrough, Bethany was a Grey Warden, so...), and she has a lover whom she was together with for three years, whom she had to keep safe, and whom she helped on every occasion she got. I always imagined my Hawke as someone who was angry about what happened, but simply didn't have the strength to lose someone else.
