Hey you both.. just a tip for better cycling. Put your saddle a little higher. sit normal (let the other person hold you) and move on leg down with the end of your feet (your heel i believe) on the pedal, in that position you must have an alomost stretched leg. For better power and comfort on your feet: the point you feel the most power on your feet is the end of your toe's bit. so if i saw correctly move your feet so the pedal is more towards your toe.. you used the middle of your feet on the peddle now, Difficult for me to explain in English i notice haha, but i hope you get it,, it is worth your while to do it these 2 things!!!! Actually do you yourself a favor and go to your local bikeshop and ask them to adjust your bike (saddle and steer) the correct way, specially if you bike a lot as i understand you do, it will really help for comfort and to prevent injuries to your knee and hips

At least put chocolate sprinkles on the toast. You should visit the Brabantse Biesbosch too, including the boat trip through the Biesbosch. I can advise visiting and walking the hiking route De Kikvorsch in de Biesbosch too. Take the ferry at the Bezoekerscentrum Biesbosch near Dordrecht.

We love cooking. So we prepared food for four days and rent a blokhutboot to see the Biesbosch from the water. Absolutely the best way to visit the national park. You should try it!

De binnenstad van Dordrecht is zo mooi. En ja ik herkende elke straat XD. Biesbosch moet ik ook weer eens gaan kijken. De laatste keer dat ik daar was, was het festival Keltfest er nog. Dus dat is alweer een paar jaar geleden.

If you want to buy a freezere here in nl, I suggest a Liebherr. It's usually the best quality ones. I've never had a liebherr die on me yet. Even the fifteen year old ones can be found second hand on marktplaats and such. They're pretty darn good. My personal opinion of course. ;-) Loved the Biesbosch tour. :)

Did you guys visit the Brabant side of the Biesbosch or the Dordrecht side? I can recommend both but the Brabant side is bigger and it's great to rent a boat or kayak at the port of Drimmelen or Hank.

I don't wanne be a smarta$$...but frie the tomatoes baking the butter first and add the tomaoes. Only takes a couple of minutes and gives amazing flavour and takes away the sourness...nevertheless, I am glad you had a tour of Biesbosch, next to the Veluwe our prettiest places to go.

I know this would add to your editing time, but if you want to introduce Dutch words, could you add them to the screen? I would prefer DutchWord | EnglishWord, maybe in two different colors. If you do this, it would really help if you stayed consistent with it. I'm not sure, maybe you don't want to migrate into Dutch learning content, but as someone who just moved to the Netherlands, I would really enjoy some more beginner language content. Happy to see your "day in the life" food content. Keep up the great work!

Just wondering: don't you put anything on your bread at breakfast? (btw in the Netherlands toast is not a "boterham" (=slice of bread). When you have toast it's a slice of bread that's been in a toaster (=broodrooster) to make it warm and a bit crunchy.)

just margarine! i have elevated cholesterol and i don’t like to eat breakfast, so a piece of brown toast and a little something to make it less dry is all i need. it’s all about the coffee for me!

Didnt watch the video yet but 'brown' is basically just white bread. If you want the healthker option opt for volkoren (whole-wheat ) bread. Or something like a good sourdough

​@@mariadebake5483i think whynot means that most people in The Netherlands have a freezer. And i do agree with you to. Most places over here aren't sold/rented out whit furniture included. But i do think that there are companies that do rent/sell furnished residences. but that is a market focused on immigrants/expats. So normal Dutchies aren't that familiar with those. So for people from outside The Netherlands. Over here people often decorate/furnish their own home according to their own tastes/preferences. So when moving take those cost into account.

Reason number one is probably that what I eat in a day videos are really popular, reason number two is probably that people are curious what a couple of fairly slim americans (which is pretty rare if you've seen the statistics) eat. It looks like really normal food from a dutch perspective so I'm guessing the slimness is due to portion size and an active lifestyle. People probably want to know what a regular day of food looks like since they eat pretty abundantly in their food review videos, like they mentioned.

Why do you use the Less Salt variant of soy sauce? The normal one is so much beter. Just look at the list of ingredients.

we try to watch our sodium intake where we can. we don’t notice the difference much unless we’re dipping sushi in it or something (and in that case, they typically provide regular soy sauce with the takeout sushi).

@@buncharted I understand. Mixing it does not make a difference, but when you take it pure the taste matters. Soy sauce is better then using pure sodium. At least that is what I was told. Did yo know: you are alowed to visit the factory that produces that soy sauce if you make an appointment(Sappemeer NL). But I believe there is a minimum number of people, and filming is not alowed. Also, I have seen bottles produced in the US. The contained sodium-benzoate(SB). The soy sauce produced here does not.
