Great video. Solihull Moors fan. I spoke to some of the Dorking fans at half time. Apologised for the sending off and penalty. Refereeing in this league is shocking. We're in November now and Dorking are holding their own in this league. The way Solihull have been playing recently you will be above us soon.

Long time BoA sub here: I appreciate the more cinematic approach to the videos and the time it takes to edit and narrate. I just wonder if BoA would stand to win more views and subs if they did a match video for example for all away games (dorking might have that covered with doorking tv or whatever for home games)? It just puts me slightly off to be watching game 5 of the league when were already on game 18/19 at the time of writing the comment.. as I said, love the content but would prefer to see a "current" BoA/dorking video not with such a big delay, so we could actually follow the season closer.

If we were searching for big views this channel would be very, very different. We genuinely, and please don't take this the wrong way, couldn't care any less if you want us to be more current. We are not a magazine show, we are not Match of the Day for non-league. What you're asking for will never happen as it's missing the fundamental aim of the channel. We are interested in telling the story of Dorking's season. We want to show the people involved and what they do to make it happen. We don't think awareness of the result is important. What's important is how and why that result happened. Not the surprise of the result itself.

Don't necessarily agree with the "we couldnt give 2 shits about what the subs think" approach, but each to their own - usually that only gets you so far. Judging from your comment, your "far" seems to be Eastbourne, when you could be aiming a bit higher while still keeping the true ethos of the channel (nothing against Eastbourne btw). More views and subs doesn't mean you have to give up your soul. I guess at some point all YT channels must have to take the choice of committing to YT or not. but i digress...

Marc’s chat with the ref pre game didn’t absolutely nothing, actually did the opposite. Every foul that wasn’t a foul given and even yellows for complaining. Terrible game for the ref

It’s yellows for dissent. Not particularly for complaining. But if they run up to the ref swearing- expect a booking. This sort of behaviour by players needs to be stamped out of football. Constantly complaining to the referee about things which isn’t their concern.

You do realise they have one hand tied behind their backs every week with the part time / full time thing? They look like they are in a bit of trouble now because they struggle to see games out when they've got it won and Alfie offers nothing at this level. Once Marc sorts out defending better - maybe has to go four- they'll be fine. Think sometimes you can forget how fast and how far they've come.
