Beautiful recipe. I loved your audio addition telling us some of the history and giving alternatives that one can use to customize to our own tastes. Our neighbour, Gudrun, is from the Black Forrest area and I would like to make this for her. She has often complained that it is difficult to find quark in Canada. I also would like to make this ricotta and lemon topped with a lemon glaze. Thank you for your time and effort put in to sharing this with us.
