Bungie games filed a lawsuit against alleged providers of cheat software that allowed players to see through walls, shoot their enemies and basically get an upper hand in the game play. They sued several individuals and AIMJunkies (Phoenix Digital Group) for copyright and trademark infringement in a unique case that took a couple of years to reach jury trial. The jury found copyright infringement and an award in excess of $63,000 was reached. The defendants, who filed their own countersuit, expect to appeal.
Other legal issues involved allegations of circumvention and trafficking under 17 U.S.C. 1201
