This video has caused me severe Fyolai brain rot and so I'm gonna write down what is essentially an essay on my interpretation of what all of the lyrics shown in this animatic mean in the context of Fyolai!! Be prepared, it's a long one "Winding down our emotions"- being the fact that Nikolai believes that the only way to achieve ultimate freedom is to erase all humanly emotions from oneself "Family and friends becoming ghosts to dream of"- I think that Nikolai may have abandoned and ghosted past family and friends one he met Fyodor because he represented his liberty and freedom and how close he was to achieving it "And pass on time will erase, every face, every name"- how overtime he may have forgotten the people of his past, how they acted, how they looked, and because they were no longer important to his goal of freedom so they weren't worth remembering. Especially because later on Nikolai realized that in order to rid himself of human emotions he needed to get rid of those he loved and cared about "We are alone, no one to blame"- him realizing that because of these actions, he's alone (save for Fyodor) and how it isn't anyone's fault but his own "Bernadette you are my liberty"- like with the original meaning of the song(from what TikTok told me 😭), Bernadette(in this case Fyodor) represents his freedom, his liberty. In the OG meaning Bernadette isn't real whereas Fyodor is, but the message his still the same. Nikolai doesn't view Fyodor as fully human, just as a physical representation of what he wants to achieve "I celebrate the day, that you changed my history"- I think it makes sense that Nikolai would celebrate the day that he met Fyodor because he changed the trajectory of Nikolai's life I'm skipping a couple of lines because I either couldn't think of a connection or I couldn't put my thoughts in to coherent sentences lmao 😭 "But you have answers"- Nikolai believes that Fyodor has the answers to everything he wants. He believes that Fyodor knows how he can achieve his ultimate freedom and so he will listen if he gives him answers or tells him to do something because he truly believes it will get closer to what he wants "And I have the key to Bernadette"- once again, Bernadette(Fyodor) representing his freedom, him having the "key to Bernadette(Fyodor)" means that he thinks he can achieve his freedom Sorry for this longer essay of a rant😭 Like I said, I've been having massive Fyolai/Bernadette brain rot for the last 15 hours and I needed to dump all the thoughts somewhere and I thought someone in this comment section might appreciate it! If you read all the way through this, congrats and thank you because this was so fun to dissect

я могу часами наблюдать и наслаждаться этим шедевром на повторе. господи, автор настолько шикарен..! я вижу здесь столько смысла, метафор, концепций и в принципе - такое чувство, будто наблюдаешь за чем-то идеальным, разбираясь в смысле и погружаясь в эту очаровательную атмосферу их отношений глубже и глубже. я в восторге. искренне надеюсь, что, подписавшись, смогу не пропустить новые шедевры от этого автора, да и в принципе, что эти самые новинки будут выходить.. я всё ещё в восхищении.

day 2: i'm here again still thinking about the last episode and how i think it was rushed and it just doesn't make sense to me that Fyodor died, no i believe he's alive, he has to ahahah And about my day... it was boring, I didn't really did anything, I was just thinking about fyolai and telling my friends about the episode and my opinions

I (sadly) feel like Bones is making their own ending where yes... Fyodor will die as for the manga... YEAH HE'LL LIVE THAT BISHH HAS THOUGHT OF HOW THE WORLD DIE So this a like cutting a cake for him... and with a lot of theories around on TT I kind of have faith in a lot of them (Especially that BSD Is a litterly a big metaphor and uses a a lot of metaphors) so save to say the ending is still hanging on the edge but I genuinly believe that he will live (For all we know this whole prison arc could be a apart of Fyodors plan to trick Nikolai and be "Unleash" from everyone's supervision to continue what he as planning as he was planning for Nikolai to die originally but look where we are... As for how he is I say... Multi dimension! There was a theory that the Akutagawa (And Fukuchi-Monster-thing) we saw at the ending was from another demision so Fyodor and Other Dimesion Fyodor worked together and convince OD-Nikolai to escape Fyodor... Or Fyodor has written that he will never until every ability users in the world is gone and that will be when he can finally be killed... (Sorry I dump my theory here I had the sudden urge and here we are... Sorry and Thank you! I hope everyone has a great day!

Fun fact cause I got bored, the re-occurring flowers in this are called red spider lillies, and they symbolzie death, loss, longing, lost or sad memories, and never seeing someone again, which seems *very* fitting for Fyolai. Love the edit so much ❤️
