My beloved fellow Gambians, I have carefully listened to Bunja DARBO'S hearing before the truth, reconciliation and reparation committee and I must confess that it was an edifying hearing. He talked about the moral obligation to bring back justice in a dictatorship, I definitely adhere to his vision. I am not here to challenge Dr. Lamin J CISSE'S thesis, I, however, have a question for him. Question number one, in 1948, the regime of Apartheid was installed in South Africa by the parliament, meaning it was legal and was put in their constitution, before such a situation, how do you expect to bring back justice? Question no.2 In the United States of America, a typical example was the Jim Crow laws, in the State of Florida, which entailed segregation from public schools, public places, restrooms, restaurants and drinking fountains for blacks and whites. This was voted in their constitution by the state representatives; therefore it was legal. We all know that the law should guarantee justice but this is not always the case. Bad regimes take refuge behind unjust constitutions and laws to satisfy their egos. If a constitutionally installed regime turns out with unjust laws, the citizens have the moral obligation to combat those laws. Yaya Jammeh and his cohorts took over power through a coup but he was eventually voted in as the president of the Gambia through a transparent election. ONE GAMBIA ONE NATION He has raised a very sensitive issue that is the bullies are still in the army. My question is why?

I am not happy when council members laugh sometimes. Whatever funny a plot of story might be, please, think about painsal and sufferings these honourable people have been undergoing through torture and humiliation. As far as Yaya is concerned, please, he must've been arrested long before. Only condition to heal the pain.
