Omg one of the course I'm interested is fashion. After I end my study here in Singapore, I'm planning to further study in Japan but I was wondering that if I were to enter a fashion college, do I have to be like TALENTED and really GOOD in drawing? I've been into fashion since young and I really wish to join

They actually have a drawing classes that is a required credit for most first year students so it's totally fine if you can't make any fashion sketches yet. However most of my friends at Bunka said it would probably be a good idea to know some basic sewing techniques before studying there! :D

What type of course did you prepare in language class? JLPT or something else

I actually took the University Prepartory course! It's the same as the general course (where you study for the JLPT and the EJU) but the only difference is that I'm not just auditing the class, I'm actually getting credits for it!

I'd like to ask, after or before going to BUNKA can you also go to another college? Im currently not very interested in fashion but im going to start some fashion classes to see if ill enjoy fashion An if i do ill be going to BUNKA, ive already started to think though when im going to apply. And im wondering, 1. How much altogether is the price? 2. What courses are there?

Yeah I've been in Tokyo for 2 months now! :) I graduated high school and I'm currently studying at a Japanese language school and next year I'm hoping to go to fashion college in Tokyo! As for how I'm staying here, (if you're referring to accommodation) I'm currently staying at my school's dorm! Hope that answers your questions :)

You actually don't really need any experience to apply to Bunka because they don't ask for a portfolio when you apply. However I would highly suggest that you learn the basics of sewing if you're interesting in taking a class with lots of garment creation! :)
