Oh my gosh I’m so happy to have found this. I watched her when she was in Florida. She’s so amazing and so caring about animals. Idk how they did it in Florida without seeing any dogs or cats though. I would be sad without dogs and cats as patients. It’s an amazing thing when a pet owner can find such a loving, kind vet as this. And if u aren’t happy with your vet, then keep looking.

She had a rough life before me and I'm trying to get her healthy but she may be a palliative care until we can figure out what's the root of her breathing problem. I love her to pieces. @lindsyfish6704
@lindsyfish6704 Жыл бұрын
I hate blaming rescues, but in this case it's hard not to. The only thing I can think of is that it might have been so minor it was missed. Two weeks is long enough for an infection to get bad enough to notice. Rabbit teeth can look fine on physical exam and still be bad higher up, which is why they needed to x-ray her. They also don't usually like having that part of their face touched and are really good at pretending they're just fine. So unless Molly was eating funny or suddenly only wanted orchard grass or fresh green leafies they wouldn't have suspected that her teeth were a problem. I hope it was just an honest mistake. Most rescues here in Canada who handle rabbits are amazing because they're specialists. I don't know how it is in California, but I suspect it's similar.

Yeah, they never tell you that. These vet shows all make it look like they do it for free. My parrot got the flu and they gave me three choices. Minimal care $300. Solid care $600, 24/7 $1200. I chose $600. Took me a long time to pay it off and I later found out all they did was keep him warm and give him some Benedril. 20 years of vet bills and he went to a parrot breeding farm. I heard he was banging 20 hens a day.

The very good part of adopting an animal from an organisation is that they have the ability to make a call for help to their followers. They are able to reach people and to help making a money pool for donations. So its not all on the adopters, many people will rescue that rabbit, not only two. ❤️

3 of the 6 sugar gliders we've had were not of calm disposition. Sugar gliders have very very high anesthetic risks. Unless absolutely necessary, it should never be used on them. This also happens because they never learned how to be a parrot from their actual biological parents. They can't self-sooth are completely confused, having been "hand-raised" for profit by greedy breeders. These birds have an 80 year life span in captivity. Most end up self mutilating, forgotten and abandoned to rescues with WAY too many birds - 100s and 100s so sad.
@johnsroastbeefbaconcheddar
@johnsroastbeefbaconcheddar 2 жыл бұрын
The parrot was hatched in captivity, and probably were the bird parents. That bird knows nothing about the wild, and wouldn’t survive if released. Parrots are very social creatures, so if you don’t have the time to give them, do not get one. If you don’t have the money to buy them a lot of toys and proper food, don’t get one. That’s the reason why so many end up in rescues. People see pretty colors and the ability to talk, and think it’ll be an easy pet that will just sit in a cage. Nope.

1500 dollar bill minimum. I've been there. We need changes in vet bills. Especially for bearded dragons.

@@mariaeugeniafurtadowalther2466 maria it outrageous honestly. They are honestly just guessing about the care and giving antibiotics out. They don't know anything about reptile care but still charge astronomical prices

@@lizardlady4011 i know some vets took these animals and are not specialized, but that’s why you should look into exotic animals clinics or hospitals that provide these services

I raised rabbits for years. I refused to have them spayed. The surgery can go well & they never recover. Its just too much risk. I kept them in cages & the ones that would play nice got to go outside in pens for play. The fighters were in separate pens. But I never allowed surgery.
