Fun fact for you bunny : in one piece world, the pirates especially the captain are often respected by their crews, in luffy's case (pronounced loo-fee) the straw hat (luffy's pirate group name) are probably the pirate group where the crews often beat the shit outta their captain because he is so stupid 🤣

@@ORHD Oh, for sure. I'm not disagreeing with you. It's just, setting up a contrast between most pirate captains, who are respected, v.s. Luffy, who gets the shit kicked out of him-- could imply that Luffy isn't respected. I'm just clarifying that's not true. Luffy is stupid in many ways, but he is smart where it counts. Luffy has low intelligence, but high wisdom. Luffy is also aware of his own weaknesses and lets his crew speak up or beat the shit out of him when they disagree with what he says, and he'll cave if he's not confident in his own decision. But when Luffy is 100% certain of something, nothing will change his mind. Where it counts, he'll give his crew orders and they'll respect his authority, because he usually ends up being right.

Luffy is slightly smarter, but with some form of aj impulsive and moderate mental disorder. Unlike Goku, Luffy can at least count somewhat further than Goku can. AND also unlike Goku, Luffy knows what marriage and sex entails. But mental capacities aside, let's be honest, the one thing Luffy could probably outperform Goku in are eating contests and Mukbang challenges.

Never say never. Sure it's long, but it goes by a lot faster than you think. And it's literally the best story many of us have ever experienced. You don't have to start it now, but leave yourself open to the possibility. Also, I suggest reacting to "The Breathtaking World of One Piece". It's mostly spoiler free but showcases a lot of the world building that makes the story so special.

Yeah, they don't know how thrilling the scenes are. They don't know what they're missing out on for sure. I've watched the whole series, to date, and finish the new eps, and I'll say it _does_ indeed drag near the last arc (ain't gonna spoil the name.) but it doesn't drag so much on any other arcs.

Hi Bunny, If you don't want to watch because it might be too long for you. One Piece has like specials where the episodes of a season are shortened to like a movie length time frame. Luffy is both SMART and DUMB. SMART when it comes to battle and knowing others emotions, probably one of the smartest emotionally characters in shounen. An example of this is basically how he managed to raise up the spirit of people that are literally down on the ground and are just waiting to die stating facts such as "When this person dies, this country came to a halt! We came to defeat this guy, are you with us or not?" and then proceeded to show something which is equivalent to "leading by example" act and after that he points to the crowd and says "It's now your turn". That's not the exact words he said, I just tried to summarized it to use as a example + to avoid spoilers. There are other instances where it shows how smart this guy is when it comes to people emotions with quotes like "It's war, people die". DUMB in basically anything except when it comes to bettles lol.

Netflix this year is releasing a live action one piece. It would be good to start cause it will not be in one whole chunk. It is worth getting into the anime. Even if you do an episode here or there.
