Roman's Tribal Chief character is rooted in 2 things. 1 - his insecure desire for validation and for people to "Acknowledge" him after years of being rejected by a large portion of the fans. 2 - how he treats the bloodline/family is him projecting and not being able to fully move on from Seth betraying his "brothers". That's what Seth meant by being partially responsible for the character change to what Roman is now.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had a small rivalry at the 2022 Royal Rumble and the basis of this rivalry was that Reigns could never digest the fact that Rollins betrayed the group. Seth Rollins won the match by disqualification, making him the only man to have beaten Roman Reings for the title. (However, the title cannot change hands if you lose by disqualification or counting outside the ring). There is so much story to tell between the 2 and honestly I prefer that it is Rollins who dethrones Reigns rather than Cody.

I think if you were a fan back in 2014-19, you probably would’ve loved Ambrose as much. It sucks how WWE treated him just because he didn’t want to say something horrible about Roman’s cancer. All three members were equally good, well except Reigns before 2021.

@@americangal9292 I loved Ambrose too, he was the wrestler that got me back into WWE in 2016 after taking a 2-3 year break. His attire and gimmick reminded me of Johnny Blaze from Ghost Rider. I still like him in AEW but I wish he returned to WWE as well.

7:00 at this point undertaker had been working only once a year at wrestlemanias last few years and had one final match on raw and then on Smackdown, after these Brock Lesnar ended his wrestlemania streak

A handicap match is where one side has fewer members than the other e.g. 2 vs 1. 3 vs 2, etc. ie. one side has a handicap (in sports, a handicap just means that one side is given an advantage over the other. Usually it's to balance things out when there's a clear skill difference between competitors. In pro-wrestling, it's usually intended to make one side the clear underdog). And yeah, the Sheild started to feel like it was a vehicle to try and get Roman Reigns over. With Seth and Dean carrying him until the group split, and then Dean and Seth having to get themselves over again with new music, new personas and new looks, while Roman kept the sheild music, entrance and look. It was so heavy handed and obvious, it was one of the things that led people to turn on Roman in the early days.

Cody's story is similar to Dean Ambrose's one. After Cody and Goldust loosing tag team championship WWE didn't know what to do with them. They gave Cody "Stardust" gimmick but that was nothing. 2015-2016 was terrible for Cody, they didn't have a plan for him. So, Cody left the company as Dean Amrose in 2019. Unfortunately, unlike Ambrose Cody never hold World title for his 2007-2016 WWE career. He came back in 2022 Wrestlemania as top superstar for finishing his story. Unfortunately he couldn't finish it last year. So, this year he has last chance.

Yeah, I brought up Moxley's issues with WWE in a prior video of yours. He went into detail about it himself in an interview with Chris Jericho a few years back (I think snippets of it can be found around YT, if you're interested). Anyway, why not check out some of his AEW stuff while you're at it? Though I ought to warn you beforehand that his matches often get rather bloody (which I know isn't your cup of tea, lol). Still entertaining, though! 😉

Im a little late, But 90% of the time Roman is the one that gets betrayed. No matter if he is babyface or heel. Roman is Lawfully evil. here are the ones that betrayed Roman. Seth Sami Zayne Jimmy uso( though this one can be radacted since he rejoined after betraying Jay) Jey Uso ( With the current storyline, Either Rock betrays Roman in the end, or Rock, Jimmy, and Solo betray Roman in the end.) Remember Rock whispered something in Cody's ear.)

When The Undertaker had that match against in Dean Ambrose on Smackdown, it was in London and I was in Nottingham attending a WWE live event where Kane and Daniel Bryan were. I was gutted cause I always wanted to watch Taker live and was so close but still had loads of fun! Cena was at that live event as well

I cried watching this. My childhood was made by seeing undertaker undefeated streak and heel bald randy orton terrorising wwe with Rko & punt kick but my schooldays was when shield debuted, shield is the best faction in WWE ever for me and Seth Rollins is the best wrestler in the world for me in the ring, on the mic everywhere. Before everything that follows, when I watched it the match where Seth Rollins become nxt champion, I was like this is the best wrestler. period. I remembered now after wacthing this video why I consider Big E to be so great, vecuase he was the one to beat Seth for nxt title.... Coming to present f Cody story, the only one who deserves to beat Roman Reigns longest reign is the one who was his brother who was and is better wrestler than Roman, Seth Freaking Rollins.

Nice way of attempting to fit in a new rivalry, with the SHIELDs old match against Cody and Goldust. But that has nothing to do with it. Cody and Rollins rivalry was built up, as Rollins not liking past wrestling returning and taking others hard work spots away. Reason why he is in kayfabe, mad at both CM Punk and The Rock. BTW CM Punk's interaction with the SHIELD, was both too short and really nothing. They really didn't have them involved together, until a year later. SHIELD were doing their own thing, and CM Punk was battling the Authority.

It sucks how things with Mox ended but WWE has only themselves to blame, feeding him some of the worst crap in company history and literally driving him into depression over how much he hated his job. Psychopath deathmatch wrestler Jon Moxley was always more interesting to "wacky fun guy" Dean Ambrose to me anyway. He was always the least suited to the corporate suitwearing side of pro wrestling anyway. Roman's perfect for it and wouldn't last a day in the scene where performance and hard work is all that matters, and Rollins is basically in the middle of the two extremes.

Yeah, he was doing good, equally as good as Rollins IMO but WWE had to kill his push and momentum just because he didn’t want to say something horrible about Roman’s cancer.

It's a handicap match because the team with 2 or more guys can tag in and out while the opponent has to do it alone. They also have a stipulation where the team with multiple guys can wrestle at the same time without tagging in or out.

Roman Reigns was the one in the shield with the least talent, the least charisma (and still has no charisma, this is the reason why he has Paul Heyman as his manager), and above all he was the one that WWE forced down our throats (and is still doing so now, making him break every record in longevity as a champion). Pure and simple. Seth Rollins (and this is coming from someone, who didn't like Seth Rollins' first WWE gimmicks, after the shield, at all) and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) have much more talent in their little toe than Roman Reigns will ever have... This is all you need to know about Roman Reigns nothing more nothing less...

Nonsense. A manager doesn't help with charisma, they help with promos, and Paul Heyman hasn't been cutting promos for Reigns for a long while. Reigns is the one with the most charisma, which is why he is the face of the company. Stop living in the past, he has greatly improved. Roman is better than Rollins, and definitely better than Moxley.

Yeah, he couldn't cut a decent promo, not that the latest ones are any better... I don't live in the past, The Usos have more charisma in their little toe than Roman Reigns could ever have. Furthermore, in the video we talk about the history of Roman Reigns, you idiot, and, if you don't want to erase the history of your favorite, recognize that, when the shield was on, Roman Reigns was always more than a notch below Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose... Without the two of them Roman Reigns wouldn't have accomplished anything, incompetent as he was in the ring, and just because he's part of The Rock's family, doesn't give him a free pass.

If you want to be knowledgeable about wwe more and start remembering main storylines . You should first focus on the pillars of wwe - Hogan, -Austin , taker, Bret ,rock , Cena . Watch their matches and storylines on wwe network raw 1995 onwards I’d start off with then watch every wrestleMania match for these wrestlers . After you know the massive importance they contributed then start with the next stars and their storylines like D generation X or Kurt angle or Randy Orton etc . I don’t think you’ll enjoy the golden era as much so start off watching the mid 90s onwards on raw - up until the attitude era- ruthless aggression era . Follow your favourite stars segments on the raw episode you don’t need to watch the mid wrestlers matches on the raw episode

it's funny now, when wwe mentions "the shield" they have been actually editing out "Dean Ambrose" so it's "oh my.. you know who that is.. that's Seth Rollins....... ..... and Roman Reigns" like Ambrose / Moxley was never there, even though they do still show him. (i am hoping now that vince is really gone they sill stop that censoring) Bunny you really should watch some other stuff, like Jon Moxley in AEW.. it's amazing how bad wwe dropped the ball with his heel run with that comedy junk. as for the story between Cody and Roman.. you are giving them to much credit for long term story telling, it's just that Roman is a heel, and Cody is a face, so he is "disappointed" in him being a jerk.. the only time they will really bring the past into it, is if it involves Cody's father the legendary Dusty Rhodes, because Dusty did have a LOT to do with many of the people who are stars today, training them or working with them when they were starting in NXT or even before that.

You definitely need to watch that. 😁 Hearing you say that him coming out at #30 was a disappointment was painful. 😂 This is an old bad habit of fans deciding for no reason that X or Y is coming back at the Royal Rumble, and when they don't, the fans get mad at the actual #30, whoever he is. I've seen people boo freakin' Rey Mysterio because of this self fooling process, can you believe it? 😅

Bunny, CM Punk didn't help them. He was largely responsible for the fan backlash toward Roman Reigns. After Punk quit WWE he went on his best friends (who he later fell out with & sued) podcast and trashed Reigns (this is why Reigns doesn't like Punk for real). This same podcast also lead to Punk getting sued by WWE's doctor and CM Punk cried in court. This is real life btw not a storyline. LOL. And this is only tip of iceberg.
