One of my favorite things about wrestling was always how they looked out for each other. You can't do most of the stuff they do if your "opponent" isn't helping/letting you. So they hold each others lives in their hands.

Logan Paul saved Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. It was impressive not just because of the speed and strength he showed but also because he did it by instinct rather then from a experience. I’m no Paul fan, but my respect for his talent went up a lot.

Yeah you gotta give Logan credit where it is due. He is actually putting in the effort to perform and look like he belongs there. He isn't just banking on his "celebrity" status to make a quick buck by just showing up and half-assing it. If he wasn't already an established (and infamous) name from youtube no one would have thought twice about whether or not he belongs there.

You might be surprised to know this, but while some spots are planned, most of the matches you see are improvised, not rehearsed. Even a lot of the planned stuff is just part of an outline that the wrestlers fill as they go. The only things that are really fully planned are endings to matches and the sequences that lead to them.

In 2007, I was sparring in Taekwondo; we were having friendly competitions however something went wrong; the week before, I had dropped a skim board on my toe, and broke the nail and bruised the bone. During warmups, I accidentally kicked the plastic sand part, my toe nail broke off, and it started bleeding. I couldn’t feel it, so I started sparring, my friend I was sparring locked me in an toe hold when he saw that my toe nail was missing, he switched to the other leg, so it was hurt anymore. Moral is, when you have trust with someone and they are looking out for you, it can be the difference in protecting vs serious hurt.

There was one match I saw with Jericho and Jeff Hardy. Hardy jumped on the top rope and lost his footing and Jericho ran up and pushed him off the other side preventing Hardy from landing on his head. Another match with Jericho, his opponent got hurt and the ref didn't stop the match even after Jericho can be heard saying "He is hurt". Jericho went over and grabbed the ref which is an automatic DQ and ended the match.

Asuka Saving somebody by kicking them in the head feels so correct. That's why she's my favorite wrestler. I don't know if you watched Crown jewel. But Logan Paul literally Saturday saved Rey Mysterio's neck. Ray was going to hit a springboard frog s flash. I believe but he didn't get enough time Airtime or Logan was not in the exact right place. So Logan rushes forward and falls to his knees in order to catch ray and then transitions it into like a power slam. If he had not, ray would have landed directly on his head, improbably broke his neck if not at least severely injured himself

She even went to the trouble to put on a special mask to protect her face for some matches, lol. She's since dropped the gimmick, though. @18:50 Yeah, Riddle fights barefoot. As I recall, the main reason why is because his feet are really sensitive, so it hurts for him to wear most types of shoes. Also, he was an MMA fighter before becoming a wrestler, so fighting barefoot just comes naturally for him. Ironically, WWE gave him the boot just recently, lol. 😅
