Zidane runs around Lindblum in search for ingredients to make a potential cure for Cid... Will it work?
Final Fantasy 9 tells the story of Zidane, a catboy(!?), who is part of a group of thieves called Tantalus. In Alexandria, on the Continent of Mist, Zidane and Co. set out to capture Princess Garnet, only to find out that she WANTS to be kidnapped! The pair will travel with a group of friends such as Vivi, Steiner, Freya, Quina, Eiko and Amarant to areas such as Lindblum, Treno, Burmecia, Cleyra, Conde Petie and more! They will face many adversaries such as the Princess' own mother, Queen Brahne, and a mysterious man named Kuja!
I am playing this on PC through Steam. This game was published and developed by Squaresoft (now Square-Enix) in 2000 for the Playstation. The mod I am using for graphical upgrades is called Moguri Mod. You can find the website here: sites.google.c...

At 5:34.. Oh Quina.. 😆 Always shows up in strangest places in the strangest ways. I like how the guards think it's dead and out nowhere Quina jumps up freaks them out. Of course the first thing that comes out of Quina's mouth is food. 🤭

I agree Bunny about the summons being integrated fairly well within the lore and plot of FF9. Other ff games like 4, 6 and I believe 10 does as well all do a great job in that department.

Btw. Bunny.. There is sidequest called hot and cold which is worth doing and you get well rewarded for your efforts. There are few chocobo forest in the game. I believe the first one you come along is on the mist continent. You can even upgrade your chocobo like you can in FF7. It's pretty fun as well.

I think previous Final Fantasy games touched on PTSD but FF9 was what made me really understand it as a child. Also Quina was the first non-binary character I'd seen in anything.

Wow nice! Any favorite characters or scenes of the game?

@@bunnytails definitely anything with Steiner I actually was missing him there is tons of dialogue going on and sometimes it can get a little slow with Steiner you are always yelling everything so even if it's kinda slow it's hilarious so I'm not sure he is my favorite character but definitely my favorite voice over for sure Vivi is pretty cool he is always tripping and pulling up his pants or adjusting his hat and I don't know why but everytime you do magic with him it looks like he is stirring a pot with his staff but I'm definitely curious to see where his story goes of course you are supposed to like the zidane and dagger story arch being the 2 main characters of the game so I'm always interested in seeing what happens with them even though I have a feeling they will end up somewhere together as king and queen I might be wrong but I just have a feeling that is what will happen with them side characters I don't usually get to attached to most of them are kind of boring except for the 1 that is always eating that thing is ungodly hilarious no matter what he does the other one's are really good in combat I guess all the characters are unique in their own way except for amarant I can do without him he seems really boring to me but the game is definitely good I am definitely enjoying watching you play this I'm not sure when I will get to it I haven't really even wanted to turn my stuff on I'm just having fun watching other people play games at the moment

I think Amarant deal is that he is followig Zidane and learning from him, he feels there is a reason on why zidane always beat him that goes beyond the brute force he knew all his life, so he follows him to try and learn that

Tetra master could be a more interesting game if they didn't include a random number as part of the game mechanic calculation. aka everything is made up and the points don't matter.
