why are there different equations for the bouyant force in each question?

Because it is so closely tied to density.

Why will 10 to the power -4 will come in example 3

Because when you put the numbers in the calculator it comes out as 10-4.

Because the answer is 0.00046 m^3. So we would rewrite it as 4.6*10^-4

A question. While I appreciate the explanation of the principles involved and the mathematical solutions, wouldn't it be easier to submerge the gauge and a buoyant object and read the newtons or grams expressed? Note: for a buoyant object. 😊
