One guy always comes along with the perfect counter to their abilities. But even with that counter, they still should have been able to overcome it. Let’s give some background on these three characters I’m referring to and I’m sure you’ll be able to come to your own conclusion on how they could have easily taken the W.

Its implied that ichigos bankai has an ability linked to the soul king(since soul king is the three races) and it is stated that ichigo could be the soul king, so he either has some form of reality warping like soul king, or some form of fate/causality manipulation like yhwach, who is also directly related to the soul king and also related to ichigo. Either way, it would explain why yhwach felt the need to break zangetsu asap, why he couldnt just change the future to him dying-because zangetsu would undo it- or why he couldnt fully break zangetsu. Ig its all speculation for now, but kubo kept it vague for a reason, so itll probably be more clear in hell and the outcome of ichigo becoming the soul king revealed along with it.

Touma might as well be god, even if at the time it wasnt clear, its pretty clear now how crazy imagine breaker can be, put that on top of what I like to call the "last millenias gold medal" effect, coined off of gilgamesh loosing to shirou, where youre so strong for so long you forget that you can loose, so you end up loosing because of your overconfidence in what you think is your inability to loose. Though accelerator has also become what could be considered a science side god. I havent read jojos since the 4th chapter of part 8, but its crazy to think soft and wets abilities got to a point where its literally just "fuck anything you do even if what you do fucks anything that I do." When it started out as a reworked bans steal, which is still broken in its own right.

Accel's is good because the novel's message is precisely to show the difference between Invincible and stronger: "An invincible being wouldn't even need to fight because his Victory was already guaranteed no matter what, while the strongest being needs to Fight to show His strength ". Both Accel and scientists thought he was invincible due to having "a perfect defense capable of repelling any attack". But after Touma's first punch, it was revealed that he wasn't actually invincible. For Accel and the scientists: it was precisely because he was "invincible" that he never needed physical training, after all why would you spend time, effort and money training if you are "invincible" and will win no matter what? It was precisely because Accel was "invincible" that he never had a real fight, in the end, his power could hit kill anyone without him needing to lift a single finger. Defeat serves both as a learning experience for you to improve in the future and overcome your weaknesses, and as a maturation tool for you to be able to deal with any situation. But being "Invincible", Accel never experienced defeat, therefore, he never used his previous fight as a learning experience, in addition to being so immature he did not know what to do in disadvantageous situations and loses his head easily when like things don't go your way. This added to the fact that Touma was more experienced, physically strong and calm was the reason Accel was defeated. To be honest, this fight makes more sense than Rock Lee vs Gaara in naruto. Rock Lee trained Taijutsu his whole life, while Gaara was protected by sand since birth, even if he trained I highly doubt that his strength, resistance and reaction time would be equal to Lee who ONLY practiced Taijutsu. Lee was practically making Gaara into a volley ball after opening the gates, and the sand couldn't even keep up. He should have won this part, they never explained why Gaara had so much resistance.

Both Temari and Gaara stated that the sand skin would not resist. I feel like Accelerator’s loss made a lot of sense. He lost to windmills because he has to precisely calculate where to direct the wind and it’s direction in order to make the plasma he was gonna launch in that first fight - the windmills being unexpectedly sped up basically changed the equation he had figured out, meaning the wind wasn’t precisely concentrated to become plasma. And yes, Accel losing in a fist fight makes sense, as stated in the video, he is over-dependent on his power, and had never gotten into a fist fight before because of his automatic reflection of harmful vectors

For Accelerator, he really couldn't have won. Touma cannonically has plot armour and Accelerator kinda wanted to be defeated. If any of the clones begged to be spared Accelerator would have stopped the killings at any time. Accelerator also isn't a ruthless killer, he almost had a mental breakdown when he though he killed Misaka Worst. You'd need to be a pretty horrible person for him to go for the kill. Also Jojolion really couldn't have ended in seconds, if the user decides to initiate the pursuit themselves, then while still pretty powerfull, it can still be beaten easily enough. What truly makes a confrontation difficult is it's post-mortem form, which could only be beaten by Go Beyond.

He's not beatable, and that's even if we only count his vectors abilities, and not his platinum wings for example. With his vector manipulation, Accelerator is protected against any meteorological modification. And even if you bring heavy weather. Sure the rainbow could theoritically turn accelerator into a snail, but rainbows are light, which also has a vector and thus, can also be manipulated by Accelerator (it's even the reason why his skin is so pale, he reject any UV to protect himself)

Everything he does requires calculations in his mind. He is very intelligent but he is not oniscient, there are things he doesn't know. Furthermore, at this point in the story he had only been trained to do one or two things. The scientists who trained and developed his power thought he would be invincible with just one ability, the vector shield that repels any vector. They didn't know that there was a guy who could nullify his shield with his right hand, much less that there was a magical side. Buts is really creative with his power. He has already killed someone by reversing the blood flow and used the same technique to survive the use of magic (espers like him cannot use magic because their blood vessels would burst), using chaos theory he has already created plasma by gathering and compressing the wind into a single point, he has already slowed down the rotation of the earth using kinetic energy, rewrote a person's memories through the vectors in the brain, messed with people's bioelectricity, created a dust explosion through propane combustible dust in the air, as well as altering gravity , manipulate waves, use mathematics to decode magic, etc. One cool thing is that his vector barrier repels any vector that is directed at him but oxygen, sunlight and UV are essential for a person to live, so Accelerator purposely lets these things pass through his barrier, but as the barrier acts as a filter , he ends up receiving few amounts of it. The fact that Accelerator has white hair, red eyes and pale skin is precisely because he receives few UV rays responsible for the melanin in his body, he also receives few sun rays so his body becomes more fragile than normal due to lack of vitamin D. I can't think of any anime character with vector-related powers doing all of this. And the power that Accelerator would have after killing 20k clones would be greater than anything he has with his original power, it would be beyond physics and human understanding.

@@misaka3468 if I remember correctly, Accel stopped it from completely penetrating his brain but was too late to stop it completely (also ain't no one surving a bullet to the brain at under 10 metres). Probably had to do with all those adrenaline rush. Was he able to use vector control? Although, for some reason that Accelerator was more durable for surving even kihara's onslaught. But imo Touma without any injury should win. He is much stronger, more durable, has better endurance and better Battle tactics and can also Gaslight people(Accel is emotionally very unstable, almost every esper is because of the experiments using syndrome). The only way for Accel to win against Touma is to attack from far away from Touma's range, but at that point a single mistake could bring out the dragons.

Oh don't forget about this villain Melkor or later known as Morgoth in Jrr Tolkien's the Silmarillion. Even though he's alot more impotent then most comic book villains are and even his prime state of power is nothing like Khahrahk the Scarlet King who destroys transcendent dimensions and subjugates and enslaves elder gods all the time in the SCP Mythos, Melkor was still the 2nd most powerful being in the creation of the cosmology of Ea and the Timeless halls 2nd only to Eru Iluvatar the only one with omnipotent power and the ability to truly create but within the bounds of the world of Arda which he enter he was more powerful then any Valar was individually. He was the mightiest of his Angelic Ainur Brothers and Sisters. However the problem came he didn't seem competent at planning things in a fleshed course of action and he was very cowardly running away from engaging in a direct fight with the Ainur Tulkas. He didn't seem very skillful at fighting and just let his power contribute most of the time instead of competent merits. Melkor although he orchestrated a chain of events that result in the destruction two gigantic lamps projecting supernatural light across the earth and destroyed a whole massive continent he doesn't use the opportunity very well. Other then constructing a few networks of country sized fortresses that are really aestheticially unsightly and crude with no culture or good imagination in them. But he chooses instead to double down on perhaps the worse strategy yet that forever cripples and makes him so weak and depleted he can't fight one Valar anymore like he used to. He insteads decides to imbue the majority of his direct might and raw power into the lands and matter of Arda itself significantly deamping him forever all while his servants and orcs do all the fighting while he's sitting on his throne making half bake not well fleshed out plots throwing his remaining power around at whatever he thinks works out that is until the Valar break into throne room and quickly carry him off to the Doors of Night to be imprisoned in for a few ten thousand years in human years which is measured different in Valar years until the First Age starts. Melkor is not really smart cunning villain and his plans hardly do any better in the First Age and he becomes even weakers afterwards wasting more of his dwindling power on raging a war of pure Attrition throwing millions of orcs at the High Elves and Humans and mostly succeeds because the Elves were acting dumb and shortsighted most of the time and one of them were intentionally killing their allies over magical jewelry not caring that their kingdoms and people would slain in process and completely collapse in manpower and logistic resources they needed to fight the hordes of Angband off. Needing intervention. In which case Melkor lost badly when the Valar came again busting down the walls of his last remaining fortress and this time sentenced forever in the Door of Night after being executed. Yeah Melkor got lucky a lot of the time in those instances and he losses when a committed cohesive front with power and support behind it forms against him. When compared to villains in the Bible he's not really a long term controlling villain who uses tools of temptations, corruption, seduction, deceptions, contentions, and advance covert means very well. Heck even the 200 Watcher Fallen Angels in the book of First Enoch advanced their wicked evil plans very well through technical legal diplomacy to get what they wanted before eventually taking the mask off when it was too late for the humans they decieved revealing what their true intentions were. Though in the end the Watchers would pay for their crimes with the worse punishment ever to be sentenced to by God in the account when the damage was done and they tried to appeal for mercy but were denied accordingly and were eventually captured by the Seven Archangels to be brought to their imprisonment in Tartarus until their sentenced comes.

For Bill’s case, he had it the most easiest of he three Bill is a lawless being that controlled the entirety of the Nightmare Realm, in turn negating all laws with his arrival and controlling anything on a whim. Technically, that should mean the same for weirdness magnetism since it is a law, and we now know he can forcefully open barriers meant to trap him or keep him out through he Book of Bill. Even more proof how simple he could have done it is the fact that he simply could have willed that knowledge of what the equation was on his own, and we’ve seen him do similar with gaining any knowledge he wants and seeing an infinite amount of possibilities when he grants it, and even after all of that Bull is already more knowledgeable and intelligent then even Ford Pines, the man who had the equation, since if it wasn’t for Bill he wouldn’t have been able to design it in the first place, so the fact a lesser being is capable of understanding something he could easily solve is not logical, and EVEN THEN, back to what I was saying, these types of equations describe laws and their effects on reality so he definitely could have neutralized it. So why? Why didn’t he just do any of that? Simply put, his ego was as infinite as his power. When it came to Bill, we see how much he loves belittling humans in any media we see him in, from the main show to the novels to even outside of that and in other shows and media, and when it came to Sixer, ohhhh that was his most favorite figurine to twist. He didn’t respect him as much as he found him to be his best rag doll he can enjoy tossing around. That said, he also was essentially his only way into our reality so that only kept him longer with him, longer manipulating him and his mentality, longer to break him further and further for the heck of it. He lost because he looked over the very ants he would crush

These types of characters lose due to their hubris. It isnt just a fictional thing, it also happens in real life to cocky people. The hare and the tortoise story is literally about this. Of course they have all the tools to win their fights. But due to their hubris and arrogance, they keep underestimating others and overestimating themselves, which always leads to their downfall. Though in Wonder of U's case, the infinite spin bubble literally came out of nowhere, how the hell do you counter something that bypasses calamity "on the spot"?
