Debt to the deathless is a pretty nasty budget finisher and a good way to spend all that treasure. It outpaces exsanguinate as soon as you are spending 8 plus mana.

I can see taking this build in a hate-bear direction but I personally dislike that playstyle - I don't enjoy preventing folks from playing the game and prefer effects like goad or pillowfort de-incentize attacking into me over that.

@@GrazzetMTG That makes sense, too. I'm not too heavy on them, no Rule of law or anything, but seeing your list has certainly made me reconsider. Drannith, Mindcensor and Oppo sadly aren't clerics to swap out. But I'll have to do some thinking about this.

Interesting build, I brewing Burakos as well, but I am going to try in Rakdos Color using Guild Artisan. Hoping it can generate a lot of treasures :D. My only concern is balancing the classes, might end up running couple of changeling for consistency even if they are not necessarily great creatures. Will see
@GrazzetMTG2 жыл бұрын
Thankfully, Burakos isn't as dependent on a full party as other party commanders, so its not as bad if a full party can't be assembled.

@GrazzetMTG2 жыл бұрын
Wilson can go in a few different directions, so we'll have to see where inspiration strikes! Baeloth would make for a good Volton / Goad build and Gut is a interesting aristocrats commander - so I can see them both making solid builds!

Should I make the same Party joke? Ah, fuck it. Party rock is in the house tonight~ That overused joke aside, looks like the Dragonomicon has won the last vote. Well, at least we'll show Game Knights who's boss. For the current vote, I say we give Jaxis a shot. He's clearly the underdog in this, facing a really wordy warlock and a bear with a backstory, all while being a basic boxing kid. Yeah, he deserves the shot in my book Day 325 of waiting for Grazzet's face reveal. BTW, should we use the #GRAZZET5K hastag on multiple videos, or just the giveaway one counts? Asking for a friend.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the support as usual! The #GRAZZET5K will only count on the giveaway video itself, so if anyone wants to enter it has to be on that video only - hope that clears that up!
@WillGirling Жыл бұрын
Hey man loved the video! I have 2 questions. 1) for the folk hero does the draw activate up to 4 times a turn as Burakos is all 4 types as well as orc - so if you cast a cleric and a wizard do you draw 2? 2) I'm wanting to potentially run it as an Orc Tribal deck and a lot of orcs are Red. So I wanted to ask your thoughts on if you ran any other background with him what ones would you think would be good?
@mrbonlino9 ай бұрын
Sorry to be late, but when it comes to cards like this, they only read tbe card's creature type the one time. Essentially, as long as the creature you cast is a cleric, rogue, warrior or wizard, you will draw one card, and one card only, even if its multiple types at once (warrior wizard, rogue cleric, etc.) If the card worked as you thought it would, then a changeling would draw you 4 cards, but the rules say the card only reads if the creature satisfies the condition once. The same is true for Burakos' ability when identifying a creature's type for their attack trigger. Even if the creature is multiple types like a changeling, Burakos only sees it as one creature type (but being a changeling, they will fit whichever creature type is missing for the party mechanic)
@mrbonlino9 ай бұрын
As for backgrounds, if you want to go all in on treasures, Guild artisan works well with burakos. Otherwise if you want card advantage, tavern brawler is good buffing and gives you better odds at finding cards to spend the treasure on

Hey do you recommend buying the party time precon and then building out the cards from that - or just trying to build this deck outright? I’m not sure if this shares many cards with party time.
@GrazzetMTG2 жыл бұрын
I would certainly recommend buying the Party Time Precon - since Black Market Connections alone is about $25 now would make a superb upgrade to the build - and it already had a lot of solid entrants that while not exactly what this build uses, would still make for a very solid deck with minimal changes.
@TheJukeboxzero8 ай бұрын
Def recommend buying Party Time. It’s great out of the box with Burakos and Folk Hero in the Command Zone. Then you can upgrade/focus as you go. Def buy Roaming Throne and remove Mirkwood Nexus.
