Retired military. You're correct. The vast majority are completely indifferent to the actual upkeep of a relationship or household, just want the excuse to get out of duty (while slagging on the women soldiers/military who are also pulling more than their weight in the shop and responsible for the kids because "she's the girl"). The immediate slander from their mouths any time a woman promotes or gets recognized by an award. The ongoing underlying harassment and innuendo, the fact that you CAN'T trust them to keep their hands and peens to themselves, and the glossing over of the fact that incoming fire doesn't have estrogen sensors. The cognitive dissonance they have when I mention I'm a combat veteran, (and worked Mortuary Affairs) is nearly always visible on their face, and then the aggression or excuses/accusations start...USAF 1997-2014.

As someone who's in the military, I will say that a lot of people get married young & fast just so they can have that set homemaker and be able to stay out of the barracks. You would not believe how many women have children with these men but can't even drive, let alone have their own job. They're in a predicament where they're married to these men for so long even though the only dated for 3 months and now they can't keep a job because they need to move again. She can't go to school cuz the kids need attention. Can't work on themselves cuz they need to be the stool their husbands can kick their feet up on and relax. Unless you have a community to fall back into, once you're married and in this type of lifestyle it's extremely hard to get out of. The woman in story 2 needs to leave now. Ain't no tellin how many of these women are abused, maybe even her, but don't include it because they don't want to hear the answer they already know.

I don't understand this mentality and sometimes I really start to think if people think things through or just dive with a dumb cheering into abyss hoping for the best? Toxic positivity and "I can fix him" mentality should really decease. It is truly a blight for women.

Emotional blackmail, and straight up blackmail manipulation using the child

The only defense men have is most of us were raised by authoritarian household where speaking up wasn't allowed. Ppl tend to revert to children around their parents. No, boys as a rule learn early on to prioritize themselves above everything else. They aren't used to doing anything that might cost them bc quite frankly, women keep dating them either way. We aren't horrified or disgusted anywhere near enough when men do the selfish things.
@jasminejeanine223922 күн бұрын
My rule is simple. If a man can't stand up to his parents, he's not mature enough to date. Clearly, he needs more time by himself. No, never date men who haven't taken care of themselves for at least a year. This one hint will save you so much heartache and frustration. For one, now they can't pretend they can't do it. For another, they actually know how much work it is, seeing as they've done it themselves. No far too many mother treat their boys like kings and do everything for them.

I’m wondering if that clip at the end is a skit, cuz was he for real?? Then she’s constantly talking about why she doesn’t want to stay over--instead of getting tf up and leaving, I’m like confusion😅😂

Military marriage doesn’t change the fact that it’s moving too fast. I went to HS with a couple that did something similar. After graduation he was going into the military, so they married to stay together. He didn’t look happy tbh 😂 like why the long face, chin up, you finally got your Becky lol (he was colorist). Even back then I was like wth. It doesn’t make sense to me, even for the “benefits”. You’re marrying a stranger that works in a field known for having problematic males. Why would you want to be attached at the hip before you know them well?

2nd story, OPs husband is just trying to scare her out of leaving him by saying he wouldn't be in the baby's life. She's already a married single mother; it'll be a lot less trouble going back to her family & becoming a real single mom. 3rd story must be rage bait; he doesn't work, drinks, hits her, & she thinks the marriage can be saved? 😳🥴

S2. Divorce him now. And file for child support at least he's military and they'll make him pay his child support. But otherwise it sounds like op is on her own. Leaving him and giving you and your baby peace is priceless, take the opportunity he is giving you!

Could the military king baby be any more of a cliché? I live in a town with an active base and let me tell you, those guys are not breaking their backs at all. They have a lot of time and energy to be on Tinder all the time picking up girls. And when they let them out on weekends, they're cheeeeeeeeeating

The yellow story (#3 I think) was hard to understand at the beginning with the phone call partner because it was confusing to follow but it took a dive fast. That lady needs to drop his ass to the junkyard so fast, the man is literally trash (violent, useless in the home, addicted, abusive and doesn't want to change). She must have the patience and resilience of some sort of goddess to living with him for 10 years. She needs to get the mind click and spine to say "enough" and get rid of him.

Second story, the military dude: he is telling her he will not be involved in the child’s life 🙄 he is using the baby as leverage so she won’t leave him. I also think he is bluffing, pretty sure he would still want to see his kid, unless of course, he never cared for the baby in the first place! And she is not doing anything to the child, it’s him ffs

I think folks need to speak up sooner. Tell the parents that’s not our dynamic. I don’t do the 50’s style wife stuff plus I’m not his wife. Say that I love that he carries his fair share around the house. We serve each other equally. This what I told my mom about my bf now fiancé. Haven’t had real issues since. Why go along then blow up about it later? I’d even call my bf over to do the chore together son his mom would get the picture.

Ladies just avoid men who aren't helpful from the start. It'll save you so much time. No, don't try and change men Just say nothing about what you want or desire so they can't fake it and walk away when you learn they aren't the kind of person you wish to date. Don't try and talk them out of anything. Just sit back and see what they do.

First story I’m cursing out the parents and ✌🏾 on the bf. Absolutely not the AH. Girl you ain’t stuck, better leave. Ugh The second to last story, girl you can’t fix that because my ex had the worse insecurities to where he’d stonewall me like a damn child. Baby I am 35. Take that shit to someone who cares enough 😂😂These menz BLARING insecurities is so ugly 😂😂😂

Just got some cameras for my house. There for my son and daughter cause I’m a single mom. Why not get some cameras for your home to see what’s going on and how he’s treating the children and if he’s acting like an ass it’s always nice to be able to pull up the recording and show him. Or if you’re vindictive like me show the world.

Mark narration is a you tube channel and also related Reddit. He, a bloke from the UK, narrates Reddit stories, usually AITA.
#1 is she for real ...they.and him told her from the beginning .... what was there to think about ...3 years????? #2 Why do people act like this is something new ... I don't know why women refuse to pay attention 🤔
@nahplop289622 күн бұрын
About your comment on story 2, sometimes I wonder the same thing. Some women seem to have very low standards so they settle with assholes because "at least this one isn't violent and doesn't has addictions", others sound like they are used to being abused or treated poorly so don't really see the red flags or all the small way their chosen partner is a bad partner or the guy changed slowly for the worse once he thought he had that lady sufficiently tied to him to not worry about separation, sort of a frog in a heating pot situation. It makes me sad overall and I'm glad I found this channel because I was in the low self-esteem, distorted reality group. Those discussions here help a lot, especially since in real life I struggle making real friends instead of acquaintances, I get different takes and points of view from everyone!

You can’t take care of a kid, then why did you have one? Correction, you don’t _want_ to take care of YOUR child. Smh. I have to admit I was surprised to see how active one of my exes was in his child’s life, because of stuff like this. Young fathers always try to get out of stepping up and are usually a headache. But he never put his parental duties on me, never changed a single diaper 😂 Why would you trust your kid with someone else when you’re able bodied and have time??

With that video, she should've just pull the "dip & text": dip outside, get a safe distance to text him that she left, leave his messages on silent and unread. Don't go home, turn off all trackers and tags. Disappear. It's time that we start matching energy: stay when it's convenient, leave when it gets inconvenient, ghost them and tell them dudes stuff like "it ain't mine," "baby cryin,"and "maaan, eff them kids." 🤣

My boyfriend is a trans man, and honestly, I can't recommend it enough. He understands every last thing I've been through as a Uterus Enjoyer™️ and is so supportive of me no matter what I choose to do. No arguments about "Are having periods as bad as getting kicked in the balls?" No condescending attitude when I bring up how I'm treated at work sometimes (it is a massively male dominated field). No arguing about whether or not we should have kids (we physically can't unless I want to go to a sperm bank and HELLL NAH I am GOOD). Plus since we're both bi, we can bond over video game crushes we have LOL. Can't recommend it enough. He is the LIGHT OF MY LIFE and proof positive that there really is someone out there for everyone!
