Hi Hila, the plus sizes are interesting but , I agree, the rest is same old, same old. I have recently come across my mother’s copy of Burda dated 1 January 1961 in German with English supplement and the issue is stamped ‘Werbeheft’ . Very interesting in many ways. My mother continued buying Burda for the next 40+ years and sewing all her clothes from Burda. She always looked very stylish. Best regards from Sydney 😊

Lots of repeats, but these repeats have been a while. I use the plus size patterns and I find these really great. The pants 121 are a recent repeat. The jacket 120 looks like a repeat too. The top 126 is a repeat from ten years ago or so, but not to say I won’t make it, I think I will. The dress 123 is interesting and I am going to shorten it to a tunic and color block it. The tunic 125 looks like it would be wonderful in a lightweight suede. Overall, I will be making several of these plus patterns.

Not a bad issue at all. There are some ladylike garments which I always love to see. The blouse with two-colored sleeves (0:06) is the jewel of the issue. I also like how this skirt (2:02) looks on the model (4:21). Thank you for this video and Happy New Year, Hila :)

Not really excited by this issue. TBH I cancelled my Burda subscription for next year. I'll just buy the odd issue that has something I like.

hm. not too bad. i like the pleated trousers and a couple of the blouses. the parka is cute too, though i dont understand the asymmetric lapel trend!

This trend has been around for quite some time. I have some older Burdas and i have seen that jacket/parka in those. Even the blouse with the ruching/gathers in the front is in one of those older issues. Basically, with the Burdas I have, i could make any of these looks.. so I'm not too impressed.

Que pesado es este burda, repite repite repite, o te pones las pilas o cierra la paraeta, encima el precio de la revista es muy cara, lo que ofrece esta más visto que la parrala, no me gusta nada
