Again thank you, Hila, for sharing your thoughts and insights on different aspects as to wearability and how fabric choices affect the outcome. I will make the skirt with the front draping à la V Westwood, no doubt one cool shape.

I always wait to see your review before I decide if I want to buy the magazine. Some lovely patterns here. I think it's really helpful when you talk about the fabric you would use to make up a pattern. Thank you 💖

Thank you! Agree that a curved waistband also works better for me as I prefer a lower on the hip fit.

That’s a great issue. I’m making the Maison Fauve Lauren blouse which has a flange, not sure yet whether I’ll like it. It’s a bit fiddly so it would be interesting to see how comprehensive the Burda instructions are.

I love hearing your insights, I'm not too excited about this one though. I might make a top with an attached scarf since they are really pushing them. I'm a bit disappointed by the sewing course for the weird long vest thing, I wish it was the fluffy jacket.

Agree this looks like a fab issue, cant wait to receive mine. So much to like in this issue and less repeats as you say. Want to make the shirt with the frill cuff. Like both the wide leg and the more fitted trousers, and the duffle coat is lovely. Think the quilted jacket is my jacket of dreams and will make that, also like the furry jacket. An issue to savour. I generally prefer the more winter or autumn orientated issues.

Wow! This is exactly what I have been looking for. What a helpful walk-through, thank you so much - just found your channel and subscribed immediately!! I agree that this seems to be a must-have issue, so I will definitely pick it up when it releases here in Denmark.

I agree with you that the silhouette of the 80s is making a come back. I also am with you on both the elegance and how impractical jumpers are to actually wear. I had several of them in the 80s. There is just no way of getting around undressing to go to the bathroom. Could you please post the name and author of the drafting book. I think I NEED that in my collection. Thank you.

Another reason to avoid the big safety pin skirt; mine was confiscated by TSA when I was trying to board my flight home (two airports before that, no problem) thankfully it was not holding up my skirt, although I'd worn many like that (they have eyelet reinforced stitching where the pin goes).

That's ridiculous. You could do more damage with a knitting needle.
@juliemulie18052 жыл бұрын
@@susanstewart1402 I made sure they saw how dull it was to no avail. The TSA wasn't allowing knitting needles then either. They also ALWAYS had to do a pat down on my wheelchair bound disabled mother. Mom said she must look dangerous.
