Beg your pardon but that is not so. Khonshu accused Harrow of "conspiracy to free Ammit." Conspiracy to commit a crime (planning and preparing to do so) is itself considered a crime. For example if you intend to murder someone but you get rumbled, you're going to be arrested, tried and convicted. What Harrow/Ammit does is condemn people for things they aren't even aware of.

They teased the third alter in the very first episode. Remember when Harrow's cult were pulling the scarab out of Steven's hand, he blinked away...then when he came back those same people got murked real bad? We assumed it was Marc, but it was likely the third alter. Marc doesn't seem to fight bloody, as we see in this episode.

In this episode, Marc was killing people and breaking bones tho, but he seems to murk people as a last result. Still could have been the third alter in the first episode since he didn’t even give the people a chance.

So in episode 2 when Steven got arrested by those detectives, they read out a report to him about Marc being a mercenary who killed an archiologist execution style in Egypt. That's was probably Layla's dad, marc and her dad probably worked together at some point both of them probably went on an excavation (Marc probably followed him as bodyguard maybe), only Marc came back and he didn't tell her anything at all or he didn't get into the details at least.

The floating scarab scene was a homage to Disney's Aladdin. And the blade licking scene was a homage to the Indiana Jones scene when the guy comes at Indy with a sword doing tricks and Indy just shoots him.

I like the theory that Jake may have rolled up on the shawty in episode 1 - makes perfect sense. Also: What if Jake the Taxi Driver is actually the one that popped in/out in episode 1 killin' folks? It appears that Marc is more likely to whoop your ass first while trying to gather info but will kill if needed. In episode 1 we saw Steven wake up w/a very bloody hand as he took the scarab back from Harrow's men.... what if JAKE actually killed them and those guys in the car chase sequence?!?!?!?

Marc is the main one, Steven seems to be his polite side gone right, and Jake seems to be his violent side gone wrong. They're all actually the same people's different side, except they're extreme, unhindered by the others, have a separate mindset. That way, if 2 of them let 1 of them front for life, how's that cheating?
