Burger king has really gone down hill. I used to work for them in a lower management position and when I worked for them, quality was always good, service speed, mattered and customer service was top priority. Ever since late 2020 Burger king has gone downhill. Slow service, cold, sometimes not even fully cooked food, and hostile service. I came into my local location once after they omitted two burgers from a meal with receipt, my burgers were literally sitting under the expeditor heatlamps, and they claimed that I just took my food out of the bag before coming in and they won't give me anything. Then dared me to call the cops when I insisted saying they'll have me trespassed. I did them one better, I called their district who I still had the number of from back when I worked for the company. The store manager refused to talk to him on my phone saying that they don't believe I'm talking to him, so he called the store directly and chewed them out himself. Got my food comped, but it's ridiculous how far they've fallen and how you have to 'know someone' to even get basic service. It was funny seeing her face when I hung up my phone, and the store phone started ringing and I said, 'You might want to get that.'

The frequency I visit Burger King is once every 30 years now - at least the last visit was 30 years ago. This is sad, because I used to love the Whopper, but it appears BK stopped using their "flame" broilers or maybe they had them removed and sold - at any rate they no longer broil the burgers and after cooking the burger patties by whatever method, they store them in a pile to be pulled out later, assembled with whatever condiments and then warmed up to the temperature of lava to make the bread as soggy as possible. At least that's my store - your may not pay the same attention to detail.

To be fair, as I understand he recieved the wrong item, the way this showed up on the POS for cooks to make appears as nearly the same lettering as the wrap. I'm a GM at BK and we had many crew members do this in the early on, because its very unclear on the POS kitchen as if its the Wrap or the Sandwhich. Embarrassing. Edit: The wraps after 5 years of being at BK are probably their best new item they've had. If you get any chicken less than an hour old from holding is actually pretty damn good. after watching the video the wrap is also not wrapped properly. I also agree the Italian chicken sandwhich wasnt good since 2018.

The biggest issue with BK has got to be the consistency. I went to the BK along US 6 near Scranton PA and ordered 2 of each wrap for a party. All were well made and I think well worth the money. I would definitely order again but seems like most people have a poor experience most of the time. It is really unfortunate.

Your description of "spongy" texture is because of food glue and extruded meat protein. Its in mcnuggets, boneless wings and most microwave meals with meat and evidently your wrap.

I tried this wrap a few days ago. The one thing that really stuck out to me was the sauce. The only way I could describe it was "Watered Down". I also wished it had either more fillings or a slightly larger piece of chicken for the $3.00.

I won't be disappointed when burger King finally just goes out of business. Not that I don't like burger King, I love whoppers, or did, they just haven't done it right in so long, It's in my best interest to not go there only to be disappointed and waste my time and money again. They need someone to come in and turn thar company around, like the hero thar did it for dominoes, buy they wont.
