I enjoyed your reaction. Killchestra is not typical BURGERKILL fare. You might enjoy the first (?) album from Apocalyptica, the Finnish cello quartet in which they cover early Metallica tunes (just the four cellos); quite different from the disappointing exercise will Tilson Thomas, which to me sounded like The 101 Stings Orchestra play backup to the full METALLICA lineup
