Yep, definitely inward scream. Frankly, not a great technique for vocal longevity. She's gonna do some damage in the long run. As an occasional filler technique for long vocal runs it can be useful, but as a primary vocal practice it can be very harmful to your vocal chords.
@a.k2156
@a.k2156 19 күн бұрын
@@Sideline1013 Its debatable. Some Asian metal vocalists use a lot of inhales and seems to be fine. It is more dangerous tho and you can seriously hurt yourself. You can hear at the end she runs out of "steam" and loses control over it, thats where you can really mess yourself up
@MaximeParmentier-p6f

Inhale growls and fry scream works but you have to work a lot on the technique to develop power and stability. Adam Warren of the band Oceano is one of the masters in this type of vocals :)

It’s weird cause inhales were the very first extreme vocal technique I ever learned and they were so easy for me compared to exhales. Now that I’ve been doin exhales for years, I can’t even do inhales now. I’ve tried to relearn em but I just can’t get em to sound good anymore.
