BURGESS X ROMAN // PLEASE DON'T GO

God, these two together are everything. I was mad at the show for the way it ended. But in interviews, Olmstead said they had always meant for Burgess and Roman to be together. He also said they wanted Roman to be able to ride off into the sunset because who knows down the road? I think they're holding out hope as much as we are that Brian might return one day and they can figure out a way to write sean roman back in and reopen Burgess/Roman. It sucked that they didn't have a more emotional farewell (why couldn't they!!!) but Roman was perfect as he walked out gracefully. Even telling Burgess to stay when he really wanted her to come with him, he put her first as he always does because he didn't want to ask her to give up her dream job. If anyone understood loving their job, it was Roman. I think he'll always be the one for her. He never broke her heart, he never disappointed her, he never let her down and the same goes the other way. They had an amazing relationship and now it will always be an unanswered question. The door will never be really closed for either of them. I'm super sad to lose Burgess/Roman but I'm more disappointed to lose Officer Roman. He had become more and more of one of the main players in the show and entertaining as hell to watch. Such a fine-crafted role, I am afraid I'll be disappointed by anyone else who comes along.

Well said, I'm also hoping for a comeback in the future.^^ And I agree about the "bad farewell". But in the end I'm glad they didn't simply shot him in 3x21 to make it a even shorter storyline.

Thank you so much for this vid. You picked a great song and beautiful scenes. I also loved ur first Burgess and Roman video "a thousand years". Ok, well this one made me cry a lot. They were so perfect together. Although understand Brians wish to leave I'm still heartbroken. I loved him, his role and him being together with Burgess so much... There will never ever be a better partner for Burgess! He made her laugh, he protected her, he gave her words of advice, he simply loved her. I was once a Burzek fan but then I saw "the real love".^^ And after all the mean comments I read about Roman I'm so happy to see, that there are people writing some nice stuff, or even root for Burgess and Roman.

THANKS for the video, beautiful as usual... I'm so sorry about Roman.. His finale couldn't be more nasty.. He is a cop and he finished his career in few minute choosing to move to san diego after a hasty dialogue with a medical commision...It's not fair.. I'm so sad about it... even for Burgessm she is so lovely and a great cop, and she had a great partner, a friend and then even more... so why? I can't understand. I hope the author will do better for her, not only for Lindsey or Voight!!! Thanks gina T

Roman and Kim Burgess is much better couple than Burgess with Adam Ruzek. It sad the writers they fall apart in the story and the actor decided to leave the show.
