Never before in the history of man, have I ever wanted a house to contain three German shepherds, three Rottweilers two Martial artists and throw in a retired army combat instructor for good measure. All quietly waiting for these pair of spunksacks to enter.

What they need is a couple of sash jammers on the inside of the windows and doors. Those double doors should have 10 in total (two at the bottom and top of each door and on going across both doors a third of the way up and a third of the way down. Combine that with an alarm with shock sensors on all back windows and doors , this way the alarm would have went off on the first or second attempt of entry. If it's a monitored alarm put two shock sensors on the windows and doors, set at least one of them quite low (but not too low) so they don't trigger to easily. By doing this it'll be an automatic confirmed break-in proved by two sensors. Finally have it on silent (no bells in or out of the property if you want to catch them) had they done this the Police assuming it takes 8 minutes for the Police to arrive Those thieves would have had approximately 4 minutes 4-5 minutes inside the house before Police should have arrived. It's still a long time but if you lock a couple of internal doors it could make all the difference. Also if the Police happen to be on their game and arrive in 5 minutes they'd only have 2 minutes inside. However If you fit the sash jammers that is enough to buy the extra time in this case to catch the guy as he's climbing in or literally less than a minute after he's in. If you want a little more laminate those windows and you can install pressure plates under the patio squares so anyone over 8 stones who steps on them will activate the alarm. I've seen burglars like this run before even putting a tool to the window, best thing is they don't even know how it triggered

The way in was the patio doors. PVC doors flex a lot. Jemmy under door and lift it up and it will open. No need to go equipped everyone leaves a garden spade out for you to use as a jemmy. Just letting home owners know so they don't leave tools lying about for burglars to use. What freaks potential burglars out is a camera on the inside of the window so it can be seen. They can't get at it and they don't know if it is connected to the Internet and sending a message to the home owners phone. Most cameras do now. But if its outdoors they will rip it off the wall etc and come back after 45 minutes if no one came to investigate. They will probably sit up somewhere and watch the house.

I do understand this title, to anyone who doesn't understand why they did it in borad daylight is that they might be singular/the only kerson who lives there and they might be at work if so, which then leaves the house unguarded from burglars and thieves. CCTV cameras do not Stop thieves they are cameras that watch thieves and some do have alarms, I do not think that one had an alarm. Burglars sometimes notice cameras and evacuate from that home because the owner of the home would find out, that thief either didn't notice the camera or he did but he was wearing a hood gloves and everything to protect his identity from being found.
