Thanks for posting this. While my bike is newer, everything's the same except that axle nut, and I couldnt have done it without your great video.

What if there 's not enough room to put the second spacer (collar) in its place - when dissembling you might already notice some tension and you might use a hammer to release it. In my case, when mounting, I came a few millimetres short, but without an extra pair of hands it's impossible to widen the frame and put the spacer in its place at the same time. I finally found a solution myself: try to use a bolt and nut as a jackscrew. Turning the nut outwards just gives you that needed extra millimetre space. The biggest challenge is finding a proper spot and a bolt of the right size. I placed it on top of a fastening bolt of the brake disk.

I just got through removing my rear wheel, installing a new brake rotor, and re-installing the rear wheel and THEN I see your video. Around the 3 minute mark I thought, "Oh crap! I have to take it back apart, I put the spacer and the collar in the wrong places!" So I turn to the manual, which I used to do the job the first time, and I see that I was wrong, I did it right! According to the manual, the collar goes into the hub and the spacer goes between it and the frame, not the other way around. Did something change from one model to another or does it just not make a difference?

Love your videos......FYI when u put the collar and spacer in,you installed them wrong. The collar goes in the hub and the spacer goes between the collar and the chassis.
