My cable broke, I have burgman 400 2007year. How do I replace that.... Any directions? Thanks. ☺️

I have a Suzuki Burgman 400 2007, it is simular to the one in this video. I think my key is locked under my seat. How do I get to the release cable to open the seat latch. I can't figure out how to get the plastic off that covers the latch. I hope you can help me with this.

I ended up just removing the bracket from the bottom of the seat. Of course the seat no longer locks but now I’m not playing with the latch all day long trying to get access to my under seat storage. Being embarrassed as strangers look at me in the parking lot If I ever get the latch fixed I can easily replace the bracket.
