I'm pretty sure he has a microphone attached to his shirt, connected to a device that may or may not be behind him. It looks wireless, so it looks like he is not using anything just the camera microphone, but he is actually using a sound system to record himself.

This of course affects the larger meaning, but this specific arrangement of verses could also be part of the meaning the artist is attempting to convey in this performance. It should also be noted that the first two verses have also been attributed to Saadi Al Shirazi (born 17 years before Rumi), and actually fit more into the meaning of his poem than they do Rumi's in my opinion.

And as a gift I'll try to translate: My eye (one eye) cried a tear precedes a tear, while the other was stingy to us with cry (the other eye didn't cry), so I punished the stingy eye by closing it when we met (so that the eye that didn't cry didn't see his lover). These verses are repeated for the most song. Then: They came back drunk in your characters, and not in tasting sin or in drinking wine (drinking alcohol is the sin) but the brightness of your closness blinded their minds, (I don't understand the last phrase but it's basically glorifying God's ways)
