When a soldier goes to war, they're somehow prepared for any eventualities. Not to meet their death in an unprepared, non-combatal situation in the hands of 'mere' civilians. That is the difference if that answers your question. However, all fallen heroes are heroes in these brothers-in-arms eyes. None is less valued than the other(s) ok.
