Those winchs are geared really good , we use to use one , it actually wasn't that hard to crank by band to lift car ,thanks for video

That double hitch was for a Single Wheel trailer produced in the 1960's. The wheel swiveled like a wheel on a Creeper but about 24 inches in Diamater......Did not haul much infact i think it was a Small Camper!

Do you think maybe that hand crank winch truck was just used in their yard to pull engines? I remeber in the back of Mechanix Illustrated magazine they used to advertise a very small trailer with a swivel wheel in the back. The whole trailer was only about maybe 4 feet by 4 feet, good enough to carry your tent if you took the car on a camping trip. That would explain why then needed two ball hitches.
