Objection you normally hear over ruled or sustain now it's side bar. Rules have changed in the courtroom.

Yes you're right - the attorneys used to argue why it was an objection and opposing counsel would argue the opposite.. now it's all approaches to side bar- but I think listening to those arguments about objections is very interesting

@@novascotiaskater1868 - this is not, in fact new. This is how they deal with issues that have been discussed outside of the jury, about topics / details that have been ruled inadmissible - or that will only be admissible later on after other testimony (foundation) has been given. tl:dr - side bars are nothing new.

@@krisjustkris7970 nothing uncommon about that. My family loves each other but we only have contact about every 5 years or so. We don't celebrate holidays or birthdays so there is no seeing them yearly

@@selenasanchez7336 She was alive back then and according to his sister, they were close. It does sound weird but we learned that she isolated her next husband from his family too. So it seems there was a pattern.

It's been a long time since I watched one of these, but I don't remember that the openings were so long and included every step and every bit of evidence in the case. Seems like the case is completely laid out on both sides.

This is a child. She's rude. Has a smart mouth and quite disrespectful. She was 7. How much does she really remember?? I Don't believe a word she says. Lawyers have obviously trained her what to say. I was in an abusive home until I was 7 and no way did I know all the details of my parents marriage. Don't know if I believe the man was abusive. Where's the actual evidence of abuse?

This is in regards to the black attorney lady that was commenting about the gun and the fact that this guy that's shooting people. She says we need more gun control. She doesn't know what she's talking about. What about the people that get stabbed every year but they don't want to take away everyone's knives! What about bows? You going to take away everyone knives and bows. What's next? BB guns? She needs to wake up!

@@michaeldocken5695 guns give people a certain mentality . Like they’re invincible and powerful. It’s just too easy to kill multiple people with a gun compared to the other weapons you mentioned. Knives require physical exertion and contact. Bows require physical exertion and accuracy. Guns basically you just need to point and click multiple times.

Omg at around 2:55 is someone using a vacuum or getting ready for lift-off? What awful audio when we’re not supposed to hear the Judge speak with the Attorney’s from either side. Time for me to turn out. Do better @Courttv. 😂

It’s white noise; they play it in the courtroom during sidebars so that the conversation between the lawyers and the judge can’t be overheard. Often this is done because they’re discussing things that were decided pretrial and they don’t want to taint the jury with information that was ruled inadmissible. Saves everyone from a mistrial and redoing the whole process.
