Thanks so much. The book I am using covered these topics over the span of several chapters and I didn't make the connection between price indices and EV and CV. I also really like how you started from a simple Cobb Douglas and showed its complete analysis. One last thing, why haven't you mentioned the fisher index? Felt like a natural follow up to the bit on over and under estimation. Great video and it was of appropriate length for the topics it covered!

Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I was not familiar with the Fisher Index. Thanks for mentioning it, I am glad that I get to learn from making these videos and the feedback you guys give me! I don't have the opportunity to teach much of this level of material at my University, so I am glad to sometime have time to delve into these topics for a video. When people make a request, I try to do an hour or two of flipping through books, an hour of brainstorming, and hour of recording, and 2-4 hours of editing. I am often surprised that something quite useful (and sometimes beautiful) happens at the end of the process. ☺
