What's the official site for seeing specs. and ordering and do you think that inflatable slightly larger tires might make it a lighter ride.love the concept, especially for camping and even touring.
@PowerInMotion7 жыл бұрын
the offical site is Burley.comburley.com/product/travoy/ if you inflat more air to the tire, it doesn't make it lighter, but it will had less rolling resistance, which make it easier to tow, at the opposite side, too much inflation will have more bumpy ride.

Thank you for your prompt response to my inquiry, do love the concept but a little pricey for me at this time. Retired and planning to bike tour and see our country for myself. So much to see and also so many options, going "West" young man. Again, thanks for your time.

Do you think it will be stable on the back of a recumbent tadpole trike.. They have a rack mount for the hitch. My concern is that the weight/inertia would cause my trike to roll (push it over) on corners. What is your opinion on corners while it is weighted down.??
@PowerInMotion7 жыл бұрын
Rob K, you really don't feel the weight, and because it is up right compare to down low trailer, corner and turning with the trailer, you wouldn't notice it was there. Unless, you go down the hill and making very sharp turn. In that case, you just need to slow down and take slower turn.

OK round town but are more rugged, inflatable, rough terrain, long-distance wheels going to be made available ?

Slugerveldt: the design of Travoy trailer have been out for more then 3 - 4 years. It had been used by 1,000s of customers around the world. Our customers use it travel around the world. The tire is inflatable. To have more rugged design means increase of weight. So i think this already a very design to handle most of the condition.

how does it do on country settings ie dirt and gravel roads Mt. roads?
@PowerInMotion7 жыл бұрын
James, gravel road is just fine, as long as no major bumpy road, which will cause the trailer go up and down. The trailer stand very close to the bike, it is very stable, go where the bike steer.

I've read in a comment that the trailer will easily tip while traveling fast over small bumpy terrain. I haven't seen any videos of this trailer where the rider is moving at a normal bike speed 15 mph. The guy said that small bumps, potholes and getting from the street to sidewalk will easily tip it over. I want to see what this looks like before buying as I travel with an electric bike at speeds 15+.

We have ran it on electric bike, 18 spd, 27spd, fat bike, all kinds of speeds, differ kind bikes, differ wheel size without any problem.
