haha, in what way?! The way the music ends right at the end is superb! I wish I had the ear to have done that on purpose and not just a happy accident.

I'm better now! It really did hurt for 4 days though. Thanks! I'm happy with the use I found for her as the intro (and one day the "coming up on the next episode" if I can get ahead enough to know what's coming). I'm having the best time. I can't wait for SF+!

@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
Nope! I add all the music in post. I used to put the track name up but I needed to streamline my editing workflow and that got the boot. I'm trying to work ahead enough to bring it back.

I've been coloring my factories after companies. 3M red for plastic/rubber, BP Green for oil extractors/down, and yellow/caterium finish for power stuff. I love your videos, I get new idea every time. Made a spiralled hexagon platform for my space elevator after the cradle episode. :)

Thank you for the kind words! I like that idea. I think I'll do the same thing and copy major companies color schemes for my factories.

I think it was before hold and nudge were introduced, but I discovered that if you placed a building then held ctrl to lock the next one into position, then walked into that space before placing the building, those legs would extend and the building would be just above head height. You could place a line of them from there. But I'm pretty sure the hold and nudge update removed that trick.
@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
This entire stand thing spurred from me trying to duplicate those legs and get them that tall. Would you please try and let me know if you can still do it? I'd be super grateful. Please leave a new separate comment, youtube doesn't tell me when people reply, but I see all new comments. It's a terrible commenting system.

That was smart to lay a foundation in the blueprint for the building to snap to
@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm not experienced enough with blueprints to have any better tips and tricks. I'm hoping to learn, I'd like to be able to build mega structures and easily snap to the left, right, top, bottom etc. of other blueprints. Make enough lego modules and you can build the world!
@TheXtrafresh2 ай бұрын
for blueprints that are meant to be placed in a grid, like these, it really pays to place pillars,r beams or walls in the 4 corners so you can snap them to eachother. Use an item that doesn't exist in the rest of the factory or blueprint, so they are easily mass-filtered-deleted after placement.

Thanks for the video. Backpain is just the worst. It's amazing sometimes, how little it takes to throw out your back, although to be fair, I have done some pretty Neanderthal stuff and thrown out my back that way too. "Yeah, I can totally lift that.....son of a biscuit, that's heavy....OW!" Concrete is in high demand, and I really need to make a giant factory for that too. Steel isn't that bad, if you get lucky with some alternative recipe's. I had the one with petroleum coke unlocked a few days ago, so 1200 steel ingot/min now = very nice. Now for some more power, and then aluminium, maybe. Or turbo-fuel....although crystal oscillators could be handy too....or.... 😀 Take care.

Build it all! I'm so glad the pain went away. I'd also been working an absolute ton in the weeks before, so my body was ready to injure itself just from spending 19 hour days at my desk. I'm feeling so much better now.

Reasons to have a BP builder by "construction" site, build the repetetive pieces on the go.
@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
You're not wrong! That makes perfect sense, I just don't think to do it. Eventually I want to have a blueprint designer for every blueprint I make, wherever I make it. So if I want to tweak it I can just visit its dedicated location and play around with changes.

@BEDplaysGAMES2 ай бұрын
I'm usually a modded SF player, so I have infinite zoop...so I've never tried blueprinting foundations like that. Are they easy to place in-plane to make a large floor? Do they snap like you'd want them to?
@PersistentDissenter2 ай бұрын
@@BEDplaysGAMES Yeah. I usually zoop 10 foundations and use that to place my first blueprint. Switch to blueprint mode and snap after that... Platforms be fast.

For the part at the start when I’m testing the stand? You can nudge but the hologram has free movement before that, so you can’t be exact in the spacing until you add a snap point to look at.

@@BEDplaysGAMES Yes, you're right. You can move the hologram freely without an anchor point, but not as precisely as you need. I just tested it myself.

Yes. It's a gauge of how much you're carrying vs how much is in the dimensional depot and where the materials will come from when you build it, as far as I understand it. I got excited about it but didn't do a full deep dive into it yet because I don't want to take the time to hunt down mercer spheres, I just want to build.
