Why is Pally the only HotS player who commentates while they play? Everyone else just plays the game and doesn't add much energy to the video. Pally brings this game to life!

I'm sure it's a lot harder than it sounds, especially at both this skill level and this level of chatter. Pally makes it look easy, but he's been working on this particular skillset for a long ass time. Also I'll add a plug for pally's buddy TrikSlyr, who occasionally has HotS content with some reasonably entertaining live commentary as well

At one point, I thought "I could do that type of videos, how hard could it be?" So i tried playing and commenting as I was playing. It's hard! Very hard! So yeah, that'd be my answer to the question

10:50 Pally just flying around looking at the fight when he could've dropped a meteor to kill Dibbles. Then a few seconds later pinging real Nova, rather than again dropping a meteor to make her visible. Never change Pally! Never change! :D

The level 4 talent doesn't make you deal more damage to buildings with your fire breath, only heroes. So you can't use it to be better at PVE

It also doesn't need to be at 75 energy and more to have a bonus. It just add more to the bonus it gives. From 25 bonus at all time to 75% when at 75 energy or more. It's important.

BIG LEZARD! probably one of my fab heroes, not the strongest, still think people are crazy to not take melee DW, but i love this mini-raid boss

Start of game with Deathwing: Press 1. The melee abilities just aren't worth it compared to having two abilities designed to limit the opponent's movement options.

I think you should try to theorycraft a third build for Deathwing, just to be consistent with other characters. I'm sure there's another one to be found. >)

I've been able to make three builds work. Doing melee can depend on the other team comp but if you're good you can do it just fine and you still can have ranged options. With melee you usually just want the protection since it still gives healing on auto-attacks against heroes. Plus they completely gutted the healing on W since it was so powerful on release and they never tried to put it somewhere balanced so now it's just terrible to use.

It's also great for stalling objectives and zone control, as well as revealing stealthed enemies and setting up Molten Breath. I have no idea why most Deathwings lean to the melee form.

Couple questions: 1. What constitutes a "building" like are turrets "buildings" or is it just the forts and keeps? 2. Does something like a divine palm work to heal death wing? Mechanically it just feels a bit different because it's only triggered upon reaching 0hp? Just some thoughts, thanks Pally and everyone!

1) It's just forts and keeps. The talent specifies, Pally just simplified it. 2) Deathwing can't be affected by any allied buffs so he wouldn't be able to get the divine palm buff at all so whether it would heal him or not is moot.

Absolutely disagree. I love playing him and is the only reason I play this game. Not being to be big dragon would ruin everything for me. I hate being small.

13:27 Cataclysm comes off CD regardless of your range from a Fort/Keep, or even if you are in the air. You can land at the same moment to reduce the landing CD to 0 to be able to use it immediately after landing.

Pally, how are you playing hots. When I tried it, it wouldn't let me join QM, couldn't join aram, bots, or make a game

When you first install and load the game, it can sometimes take a minute or two to initiate the game if you have a slower PC. Give it a couple of minutes and the ready button with light up. It used to show a loading bar in the top right when it was doing it, but at some point, it stopped showing up.

This is the character that pushed me to stop playing this game. At first BW seemed amazing. Then one of my friends wanted to play BW and nothing but BW. BW in every game. Aggressive BW. It limited my choice of characters so much, that I just went... F it. I returned after Li-Ming, but never came back after BW.
