So... what can I say? I was studying this morning... then this song was randomly picked from my playlist... and yeah, I just needed to translate it, even if it is not a TypeMoon song and I have an exam on monday.
I hope you'll be able to like this song even if you are not a Tales Series fan, I think it's great ^^ If you like it I'll probably do Kaze no Uta soon too, another great Tales of song by FLOW (Don't worry, I'll keep uploading TM songs, I just really like this songs).

Sad, ufotable animated Tales of Zestiria and inserted a small bit of Tales of Berseria instead of it having a complete independent anime ( Still Ufotable was kind enough to be able to animate the OPs of both " Tales of " Games )

I love the whole Crew in Tales of Beseria I wish there was another Tales game with them and this time the Zestria Crew fighting together like some sort of time loop where they have to save the world together to preserve the future like FGO or something

Well Velvet, Laphicet, Eizen, and possibly Rokurou are still alive during the events of Zestiria. Laphicet and Eizen have a direct role in the plot and as for Velvet, Laphicet being alive and in the position he's in is evidence to her still being alive: Laphicet is alive and leading the Empyreans, so Innominat is alive, but still actively sealed by Velvet.

And considering Sorey became Laphicet's vessel and removed him from the Earthpulse, the balance Laphicet kept with the other four Empyreans has likely been destroyed, so there's your saving the world/reason to unseal Innominat (and thus Velvet). With the latter option you could then go into a plot about lifting the curse of malevolence.

@@negspirito You can't and shouldn't unseal Innominat. Also, Maotelus already took his spot so he would be a rogue Empyrean creating more problems. They really should have done a proper closing game for the Zestiria timeline but since everyone bashed on it so much they already moved on. Sad but true. I only hope the upcoming Tales of Arise will manage to do the series right.

For anyone wondering why “omoi wo” is so emphasized: in Japanese, the verb goes at the end of the sentence. I only studied a little of it, so I’m not entirely sure, but it’s likely that that’s the part of the line that translates to “burn”. A slightly less confusing (if also slightly less accurate) translation might have been “I will show that I can make these feelings burn”.

What a great game. Beat Tales of Berseria a few days ago, and I think it's right up there with the other modern JRPG's i've played like Persona 5, Ys VIII, FFVII Remake, and MDNeptunia VII. Gotta say though, this game's opening blew away any I had previously seen lmao. This song is literally perfect for this game.

Tales of berseria > Tales of zestiria Despite berseria being before zestiria because of the timeline, Berseria is better in my opinion

Hey, this “timeline” of which you speak…can you explain it, by any chance? I’d only played Tales of Graces before Tales of Berseria, and it concerns me that one of the expedition locations is the “Amarcian Subcontinent” - am I to assume all Tales games take place on the same planet (Ephinea), or is that just a nod to a previous game that means nothing in actual canon? It just kind of bothers me a bit, I’d appreciate a confirmation one way or the other. :)

@@Wandergirl108 not all tales games takes place in the same planet. Tales of Berseria and Tales of Zestiria takes place in the same world while Tales of Graces is in a different world.

Hey, while you're here…can you maybe explain to me the difference between malakhim and Seraphim, and the difference between daemons and Hellions? I've yet to get into Tales of Zestiria (though I fully intend to), but I can't find any explanation for what the actual differences are in the meantime. Like…Zavied and Edna WERE malakhim in Tales of Berseria, but now in Zestiria they're Seraphim, and there's a difference? I'm really confused.

@@Wandergirl108 In Berseria and Zestiria world, Berseria takes thousand of year to Zestiria so you could say Berseria is a prequel to Zestiria in timeline. malakhim and seraphim has no difference and this is the same with daemons and hellions. Is just how it called during the time is different.

I figured it was more like hundreds of years, not thousands - after all, Edna and Zavied are alive for both stories, I know that much for a fact, and while malakhim/Seraphim live a long time, they aren't immortal… Also I'm sorry to keep asking you questions, but Google searches (and even Tales Wiki searches) are telling me next to nothing, and I want to be clear on some things NOW, not in the distant future when I've bought and finished Tales of Zestiria. You've been a huge help so far, I really appreciate it. :)

I just wish there was another ending in the game one that was happyer for velvet instead of her and her brother sealing each other away i feel like it was wasted potential at the end of the game they could have made an alternate ending an ending that would have been more satisfying when were velvet does not have to seal her brother away or fight him but instead kills the false chosen and return back to their Village and rebuild it and serve as its Guardians that would have been a much better ending and that would have allowed velvet to appear in Tales of zestiria as possibly a DLC campaign like I said so much wasted potential for a two-part game series

There was no getting around it since Namco had already established the timeline. Plus Aball was confirmed destroyed by the time of Zestiria.

@@LeonGun8 but like i said velvet and her brother could have rebuilt The Village as part of the alternative ending and served as it's Guardians and protected it from harm and also like I said earlier that could have paved the way for a DLC campaign where you can unlock velvet as a playable character as well as her brother so much wasted potential for a two-part series if i made the game i would have made two endings made 4 DLC campaign's two for each game that would have kept the game's going longer than it did

grimm reaperMK2 I know for a fact that in an alternate universe, Namco pulled off a Scarface: The World is Yours where in the (non-canon) alternate timeline, Velvet survives and Innominat is killed/defeat through other means, however Laphicet becoming Maotelus is still a constant. I dunno what is next. All I can picture is Velvet working at some restaurant as one of its professional cooks, as well as a small group of exorcists who still cling to Artorius’ goals of reason over emotion became a radical terrorist group.
